R&B-Pop singer , songwriter Ebony Slater was born on August 24, 1992 and currently residing in Nashville. She began engaging in musical interest at just two years old while creating structured methods for her songwriting at the age of eight. Ms. Slater quickly became intrigued while developing her soulful voice. She got her start at Rocketown Nashville; a music venue shortly after joining a hip hop group as lead vocalist before going solo in 2010. Since then Ebony has focused on fine-tuning her craft. Following the release of her first single "Show Me" gravitated momentum projected towards air play on a few local stations such as (KSCL 91.3FM in Shreveport,LA) as well as continuous rotation and numerous interviews with independent stations such as (WBKN Beatknockin Radio, Wair Radio , Da Cave Radio , Redd Angel Radio , Lawless Radio) and more.

It was shortly after Ebony featured in Supastars Magazine 2011 issue and the 2012 August issue of both IAMU and Hostile Magazine. Ms. Slater then appeared on Rap Hustle Daily's website for unsign/flash of the week. Her single "Show Me was then featured on various mixtapes (Vol 3 R&B Sensation / KY & TN Mixtape) hosted by Dj Reezy along with the AllStar Mixtape hosted by Hoodie Muzik Group in addition to a few others. Ebony Slater was later nominated for several independent music award shows. (2012 6th Annual Nashville Independent Music Awards , 4th Annual Hip Hop in the Ville Awards) It wasn't until December 12, 2012 she received "Best R&B Song" and "The Listeners Choice" award for the Lawless radio awards in Atlanta. While molding her character Ebony embraces her humbleness looking forward too many opportunities off network to build relationships that will benefit throughout her career.
