The Black Fall formed in Enschede, The Netherlands in 2013. Their sound consists of a mix in the twilight zone of progressive rock and metal, topped of with clear vocal lines. 

The second album 'Clear Perception' is set to be released on the eve of 25th January 2019 in Metropool, Hengelo, NL. The record was produced by Tom Meier and recorded at Tom Meier Studio Recordings. The mixing was done by Bruce Soord, front-man of The Pineapple Thief and who also is an accredited mixer (Opeth, Katatonia, Anathema, Blackfield, Riverside & many others). Mastering was done by Steve Kitch (The Pineapple Thief, Tim Bowness, Anathema).

The album 'Clear Perception' has a post-rock atmosphere. It displays a more thoughtful, delicate songwriting. It tries to grip you with a view on how present society has evolved. Will you join to watch the world burn?

Bruce Soord (The Pineapple Thief) stated: 'It's not very often I can across bands who are producing great rock music like this, with hooks, melodies and atmospheres that stay with you. The Black Fall's album Clear Perception contains just great songs. That's why it was one of the most enjoyable projects I have worked on.'

Digital demo, 2014  - In 2014 they released their first digital demo containing two songs.
First album: The Time Traveler, 2016 – In November 2016 The Black Fall released the very well received debut album The Time Traveler. Menno Gootjes (Focus) guided the band with his expertise during the songwriting process. The Time Traveler is their first statement; ambitious and often aggressive. A determined traveler who refuses restrictions.
