Unpolished tunes (demos?) recorded on my kitchen table when I have the time and headspace. Nothing other than layered acoustic guitar and some reverb - I like it like that. I gave up my electrics and FX pedals long ago for a simpler acoustic life. I’ve played and recorded with Punk Rock and Indie bands, but my solo stuff has always had a kind of country/folk feel (don't know why) and/but nowadays I embrace that. I like to experiment with a mix of open and standard tunings to see what they bring, and occasionally something sticks.

Punk, Folk, Country, Psych - favourites are many and varied; J Spaceman, Pete Kember, William & Jim Reid, Anton Newcombe, Will Sergeant, Peter Hayes, Kim & Kelly Deal, Poison Ivy Rorschach, Syd Barrett, Ricky Wilson, Lou Reed, Sterling Morisson, Roky Erickson, Skip Spence, Ron Asheton, Steve Jones, Charlie Parr, Johnny Cash, Towns Van Zant, Doc Watson, Blind Blake, Mississippi John Hurt (and many others) have all messed with my head at one time or another. Artists I listen to and greatly admire, I sound nothing like any of them!

The Black Six is and a gritty rock group featuring Camden Leeds (guitar/vocals), Clark Johnson (guitar/vocals), Noland Jenkins (Bass), and Matt Gray (drums). The American band formed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2010, (originally called Of An Empire) and recorded a handful of buzz-worthy demos between 2010 and 2014, which resulted in a self titled full-length debut album at the end of 2014.  The first material from the next album, mastered by Paul Logus, appears in the form of the riff-based single, “God Save the Queen.” Dirt & Bones, the accompanying full-length, is slated to release in July of 2016.
