Listening back, its hard to believe that my self, Shimano (Modified Motion) & Karen Danzig made this 5 years ago.

It was a great time for me, vinyl sales were non existent, digital download sales were non existent, and here I was along with Slipmatt selling 100's of 1000's of mix albums with Ministry Of Sound.

Rave Breaks caused a lot of controversy and for a minute on the internet forums me and Slipmatt were public enemy number 1. It's bizarre looking back as many of the DJ's who were slagging us off a few years down the line were then playing our music that they had been slagging off, some even having the cheek to ask us for the tracks LOL.

140 bpm, Breaks, Bass & Piano, with an Old Skool vibe, you cant go wrong. It has been great watching this vibe develop with the emerging sound of Future Jungle, labels like Hospital with artists like Danny Byrd creating "Rave Breaks" tracks, and lot's of the now "Bass" scene DJ's adding these vibes in their sets.

I love Breaks & Bass ... And at 140 BPM, with an Old Skool edge, it's heaven for me!!!
