This is a reconstruction of the last hour of my closing set at Ostgut Ton Nacht at Berghain, August 2014. I played mostly Techno during this appr. 9 hour set. Towards the end, I liked to calm down a little with the music in this mix.

Eric Duncan AKA Dr Dunks, half of the duo Still Going and owner of blessed hands, was the main attraction of our final party at the 2014 season. This set recorded live, capture the feeling of this genius and give us the right mood to set the vibe for our 2015 season.

In Hour 2, we hand over to Beste Modus, a collective of DJ's/Producers and a record label out of East Berlin. The crew's sound is full of soul and aimed straight at the dance floor, with influences ranging from Industrial Techno and Chicago House to Funk and Hip Hop. For this mix they told us;
"We recorded this mix in our studio. Everyone of us put together a little selection of his favourite vinyls and then we just started jamming. It was intended to have a smooth kick-off and then go into the more clubby feel while always retaining a forward and groovy vibe."

Berlin’s Diego Krause self-released his first two releases on his Unison Wax label in 2015. It got the love from critics and contemporaries alike. He starts 2015 with a fresh EP of textured house music on aforemnetioned label which veers from soulful vocal samples into his hip-hop roots and back into New York and New Jersey house. 

Hustle told us it was about time we featured him on R$N, we said sorry we hadn't already and obediently rectified said situation.

Craig Pruess is an American composer, musician, arranger and gold & platinum record producer. His career has covered diverse areas including: record production for international stars such as Anu Malik, Sir Cliff Richard, Sheila Walsh (nominated for a Grammy Award in 1983); musical arrangements for Massive Attack, Def Leppard, Bond; feature film soundtrack music (Pride & Prejudice, Bend It Like Beckham, It's a Wonderful Afterlife,); world music producing, performing (sitar, keyboards and African percussion) and arranging for international acts such as Massive Attack, Katie Melua, Manic Street Preachers and Def Leppard; television music ("Peak Practice", Sue Lawley Show) and also arranging, sitar and sound design work (for such well known composers as Danny Elfman, Gabriel Yared, Patrick Doyle, Carl Davis, John Altman); television and film advertising/corporate music (over 300 commercials to date); lecturing and teaching; concert performing (solo and with his own ensembles but also with Mike Oldfield for the world premiere of "Tubular Bells II", September 1992, at the Edinburgh Castle); sound engineering, synthesizer and computer music programming, sound design and music technology innovations.

The track itself 'Lalitha Ashtotram' remixed by Audio Junkies & Sahar Z, is a mantra, oozing of class, while it sophisticatedly meanders around your mind, locking you in to its magical spell, while remaining a serious dance floor moment throughout. Tight production gels this masterpiece wonderfully as is leaves you breathless and in awe of its power.

They have been remastered though to make them more balanced in the frequency spectrum. However I have left my trademark sound in there from that era. This release will be available at filteria.bandcamp.com and other online stores on Thursday (2013-02-14). I would like to mention also that there will be more unreleased stuff coming digitally, a 4th Filteria album and also a K.O.B. album. I hope you will enjoy it!
