Thomas And The Trucks (Series 1)

Thought I'd take a crack at a classic one, probably one the more 'ambient' pieces of Series 1 but the cabasa makes it sound so busy at the same time, such a nice nod to the sound of Thomas' pistons.

Thomas the Tank Engine's Theme (Series 1)

A recreation of the Series 2 variant of Thomas' Theme, which is essentially a shortened cut of the Series 1 variant with the string melody now acting as the lead instrument on the final section.

Thomas the Tank Engine's Theme (Series 2)

Ok, time to bring the big guns out. This is based on an idea that Mike O'Donnell had when they were going to do Series 3. They were going to redo the theme song with new instrumentation, which is understandable but the original still bangs undeniably.

This is kinda inspired by Mike's new mix of the theme, Thomas' Anthem and Isaiah's fantastic rendition. I wanted to make it feel like S3 by using the xylophone on the lead and keeping the arrangement faithful to the original. The Prophet Horns come in so handy for the iconic 'Closing' section. Still kept the Jupiter for the whistle though layered with the DX7 Calliope patch for texture.

Continuing the series, here is "Overture to Season 2", a medley combining 10+ pieces of music from Season 2 of Thomas and Friends. All pieces were originally composed by Mike O'Donnell and Junior Campbell.
