Praying for a new day, looking for some clarity
seeing people dying inside silent cries covering their lives
walking the earth more dead than alive
they struggle hustle and bustle just trying to survive
crabs in a bucket, bees in a hive existence

pushing back matters of the soul looking for control
who really got it in the jungle where survival is a rumble on arrival

the cries in the wind are from the eyes of unseen souls

fuck the token hoping, the block's infested with rodents
politicians knowing, but they don't care
showing not a worry in the world till they bite their little girls
that's when receivers adjust and the story unfurls

wonder what they tell police in these streets that kill our kids
can people be free without justice?
