A DJ since the age of 17, Baronque (Baron-K) started off playing Garage, Chicago House, Drum &amp; Bass, RnB &amp; Hip Hop.

As the years passed, he predominately moved into the field of House, namely the Electro &amp; Minimal genres playing at all the major clubs in Brighton such as Po Na Na, The Zap (Digital), Funky Budha etc. He was resident DJ of Suga Qube and Santa fe for a couple of years until he moved to London. 

Using first Ableton Live then moving on to Logic Pro, he has started producing tracks that suit his style since the turn of 2009. His first release, a remix of Chris DiStefano's 'Electro Dynamics' on the Fierce Animals label was available from August 2010.

Our story began in early 2012 - when Matt and Pete met and discovered each other's musical talent. 
Not letting 3000 miles discourage collaboration and thanks to Skype, Matt and Pete wrote and composed music together. Realizing an instant chemistry, the two artists decided to join forces to become a one-of-a-kind composing team. They set out to make 12 songs for the purpose of placement in video games, tv shows and films.  They're method is simple-create inspiring, daring and genuine sounds by surrendering to the power of improvisation. The end result - creative music from the formidable team of Matt Volpe and Peter DiStefano under the name, biCoastal Sounds.

<span class="Apple-style-span">Born in Stockholm, Sweden while his parents were on tour, Bass Cadet was immediately submersed into the world of music. He spent his youth playing in bands with his brothers and at the age of twelve he discovered the guitar. At the age of nineteen he played lead guitar and opened for high profile groups such as Cake and the Def Tones. In later years he had the opportunity to co-produce an album with Peter DiStefano from Porno For Pyros. The album was remixed and mastered at Westlake Studio. This is the world renowned site where musicians like Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Missy Elliot have produced chart topping albums. Bass Cadet stepped into the scene like most electronic heads by staying up until the sun rose in celebration of the music. He spent most nights of the week soaking up the grinding bass ridden beats of the broken beat sound. Because he grew up applying his knowledge of music theory, sound engineering and stage performance, he had a solid foundation from which to work. He has played with international dj's such as Fort Knox Five, Bassnectar,Freq Nasty &amp; Rennie Pilgrem. With the help of Yno5, for which he is the co-founder, the Purgatory Cruiser (<a href="http://tribes.tribe.net/purgatorycruiser">http://tribes.tribe.net/purgatorycruiser</a>) was brought to Burning Man 2006,2008 &amp; 2009 and to the San Francisco Love Parade/Fest for the past four years.&nbsp;<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'Bitstream Vera Sans', Arial, sans-serif; ">The Purgatory Cruiser is a flame-throwing space-pod moon-rover of doom. It has raged Burning Man, Love Parade, Alpha Centauri, and your Optic Nerve. A fully mobile mad maxian fortress on wheels, with fold up wings, flame- pontoons, and a sound system that will blast you off yur rocker. Finished off with illest of DJ's slappin down beatz, that will slap tha taste out yur' mouth...&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;The Cruiser was the backdrop to a stellar line-up of international and west coast favorites including but not exclusively; Freq Nasty, Edit, An-ten-nae, Bassnectar &amp; Glitch Mob. The hype fueled by his exceptional performances and the success of the Purgatory events has helped to bring him exposure, and people are loving his sound, and style. He is now traveling throughout the country saturating the crowd with not only his unique sound but his disarming warmth and gentleness. Once you hear him drop his beats you'll be left yearning for another fix of audio masturbation.&nbsp;</span>
