Over the past decade struggling to be contained within the confines of Minimal-Tech and Techno genres, Ion branches out into her own experiments with sound texture and shaping, the sonic equivalent of looking into a shattered mirror, revealing unseen angles and distorted fragments of reality. Co-owner of the Redukt label and host of the Reduktiv Radio Show on Dinamo FM 103.8 Istanbul, Ion worked with long-time collaborator Clone Kent, they founded Redukt label together in 2009. More recently Ion has concentrated on her solo artistic career and taken her solid grooves and cerebral soundscapes to delight audiences around Europe.

Ion’s attitude to music and techno in particular is progressive and forward thinking, using the creative process to dream up new worlds and realities, telling stories whilst moving audiences emotionally and on the dance floor with strictly eclectic and groovy performances. Not concerned with trends or fads, Ion invests in her own sound, constantly embracing different visions and on the lookout for new ideas.
