In July 2008 I released my first electronic EP,  titled “The Boy Traveler.” I asked my incredibly talented friends Lauren Pardini, Sonny Moore aka @Skrillex, and Ryan Star, who also happen to be some of my favorite artists, to join me on these songs. Their contributions added an extra layer of magic to these tracks.

I had just finished touring with Sonny, and was inspired by all the music we had been listening to including Aphex Twin, Justice, and Radiohead. They majorly influenced the direction of this EP, shaping its unique sound.

This EP hasn’t been available anywhere for the past 10 years (since parting ways with the record label that first released it). Over the years, I've received countless messages from people expressing their desire to hear these songs again, which led me to the decision of rereleasing this EP.

"The Boy Traveler" holds a significant place in my heart, as it served as the catalyst for my journey as an electronic artist, ultimately leading me to form my bands, @Pr0files and @Baby-Monster. It represents a pivotal moment in my creative evolution, and I'm excited to reintroduce it to the world.

Now doing her own thing as a solo artist, Ellie Fletcher's teamed up with the likes of Moon Boots and bass house boppers DE$IGNATED in the last year, and recently delivered the hazy, pop-infused 'One' to her SoundCloud.

London-based artist Alexandrer Kotz - aka Elderbrook - kicks off 2017 with the release of his much anticipated new single First Time. The track will be released via Kobalt on the 27th January, and is part of a two-track EP due to be released in February.

Slowly building ambience, First Time drops into electrifying synths and sharp looping vocals layered with Elderbook’s luscious chorus. The combination of soulful vocals and synth melody creates a beautiful blend of pop-infused electronica. The single is produced by Kid-Echo who had huge success with Crank It, in collaboration with George Kwali. 

First Time follows the huge success of his single Closer last year, which was supported by BBCR1 DJs including Monki, as well as being officially remixed by the likes of Eats Everything and George Kwali. First Time is a strong start to what is set to be a big year for Elderbrook, as he prepares for his headline show at XOYO on 30th March.
