Unlikely Heroes is Hip-Hop/Punk Rock band from Oakland, Ca. This eclectic group is synthesizing Hip-Hop and Punk with beats and melody that are fresh, exciting, and long waited for. Boasting with high energy, venue rocking jams, they also find balance with spacey, vibe-y anthems to create a well-rounded experience and depth in their art form. These Heroes truly cater to their “more than meets the eye” appeal. Aesthetically, they are a diverse group with a range of cultural and musical backgrounds. Sonically, they are insane Hip-Rockers that can cater to any crowd or venue without losing their Star Power in translation. 
They are set to release their debut EP in Q3 of 2016.

Loud. Fast. Rock n’ roll. We didn’t come to reinvent the wheel, we’re not here serving a brand new cuisine. We’re serving up those classic high gain recipes you grew up on. It’s burgers and fries out here in the dives of San Francisco, cuz we know you’re hungry. 
We left our hometown of Phoenix in 2015. We landed in San Francisco hoping to plant roots in the legendary music scene we had heard so much about. We arrived at a time when many artists were fleeing to cheaper pastures as tech companies dominated the city. Ridiculous rent, and crazy high prices were not enough to break our spirits. Today, The Breakfast Pigs are one of the last remaining rock bands in the city, and we’re not going anywhere.
The newest release “loud and fast” is an explosive two song ep that took us outside of our box, thinking about more than just ourselves. It’s full of political strife, vengeful manic energy, and wanderlust. It’s an expedition overseas into the imagination, and a journey through the difficult and uncomfortable history of our country’s southern border.
