This is the OST for my Negativetale Disbelief take, Depravity. The idea here is that Papyrus kills Sans on a regular Negativetale neutral route after Sans tries but fails to kill him, so in the Judgement Hall you meet Papyrus, who out of cockiness decides to rematch you.

The name "Depravity" is representative of the pure and unapologetic evil I like to imagine Negativetale Papyrus represents, especially in a scenario like this. Papyrus killed his own brother out of what boils down to annoyance, and thereby made himself irredeemable and completely depraved.

| Not A Slacker Anymore | Last Breath Cover

(BTW I HAVE NOT DIED I'VE JUST BEEN BUSY WITH FAITHLESS DUST)

Earlier I was looking for this Negativetale Snowdin theme that I swear to god I found somewhere, and I couldn't find it anywhere. I guess I'm either insane or it just got wiped from the Internet. So this is me taking matters into my own hands and making one myself.

I decided since this is a Negativetale theme, it should be more menacing than its Undertale counterpart, but not necessarily edgy like Underfell. I decided on a balance of Underfell-like coldness and Horrortale-like eeriness and ended up with a track that's unsettling and slightly nerve-racking, and which I think works well for a dense, cold forest in an unforgiving and merciless world such as Negativetale. While it is true that I was basing this on a pretty simple track, I actually really like the emptiness of it too in retrospect, especially in combination with the reverb. It adds a sense of hopelessness that, again, works pretty well for Negativetale in my opinion.

Alr so as some of you may know, today's my birthday, and as such I'm doing something of a birthday special. Except...
I've turned 18 today, so I figured since that's a special one, it wouldn't exactly be problematic if I just dumped a BUNCH of shit I've been wanting to get uploaded for a while now. There should be about 5 or 6 uploads of cool stuff today, possibly another one depending on if I get it done in time.

Alright, so I'm starting with all 3 phases of my Negativetale Disbelief TAKE (ie, not canon), Depravity. It's finally finished babyyyyy. Now you may be thinking, "b-but brick, you sexy handsome bastard, how the hell would Negativetale Disbelief work?" Well that's a great question... for a DeviantArt post I'll do later today probably cus I'm not going into the lore in a Soundcloud upload right now.

Alr so not that I don't like this track, but Darkened Injustice is probably my least favorite in the OST. Not even necessarily that I think it's bad, I just think the other two are better. Oh and let me get this out of the way now, yes, I did decide to use the traditional Disbelief phases, minus phase 4 because no matter how much I spun the lore there was no way I could do a good phase 4 in a Negativetale Disbelief take. So just 3 phases, kinda like Wrath of the Goat (the version of Dustgust before Dethronement, for those not familiar). Anyway, even though this is my least favorite track, I think I have improved greatly on it since I first "finished" it. I don't really have much else to say since this description's long as hell and I haven't even approached the credits.

Alr so credits. This is the first time in a lil while I've done a good thumbnail so it deserves some praise imo. These credits'll be the same for all 3 tracks btw. Alr so the sprites were made as a commission by my good friend Shaneli (everyone go sub to her on YouTube she make cool content), and I did everything else, including the ugly Depravity logo! Alr so this is phase 2 of Depravity. I said that Darkened Injustice was probably my least favorite phase. This is my favorite phase, but like it's not even slightly close. I made this one last, so that's probably why it came out as well as it did. I have evolved

Anyway this is the first Phase 2 theme I've done in like probably like a year, the only other one I can recall being my Phase 2 cover that I made back in the flat.io days and never uploaded. Oh fun fact I did a Karmic Providence for this and made a separate song specifically in order to use it as a leitmotif in this song, that being Foggy. So that explains the random Negativetale upload for no reason. As for the basis of the song, that's a separate MSB I made for this purpose called Penalty Strike, which I'll probably upload later today.

Phase 3 time babyyyyy

Alr so as I explained in the description of Darkened Injustice, this is the last phase of Depravity. I imagine instead of realizing Sans and Undyne aren't real and repenting like in Disbelief, Papyrus dies a horrifically painful death through some freak accident, probably a piece of the ceiling falling on his head and impaling him, similar to how he killed Sans (more on that later.). Hey, he deserves it.

I made this one in between Darkened Injustice and Injured Pride, so I think it's in between those two in terms of quality. This is probably the best Backbone theme I've ever done or attempted (we don't talk about B.A.C.K.S.L.A.S.H. that never happened), I'm quite proud of it. Do I think it could be better? Certainly, but I think for what I had availably it's pretty good.

In the minigame section you do like a little go-kart race in the bullet box where Papyrus gets a really good and fast car, Sans gets a shitty little thing that breaks down constantly, and you get a car that's bad, but not quite as bad as Sans'. Papyrus also cheats constantly and places down obstacles. So yeah that's why the car ignition noise is there at 2:28.

Yeah, I know, that one part has awful drums. I wanted to fix that, but it was somehow too difficult for me to do at the time, especially since I was kinda in a rush. Oh well, I can always remake this someday. :P
