Striking the Demon Down and its many sides

YO UHH SORRY I MISSED LIKE HOWEVER THE HELL MANY THROWBACK THURSDAYS IN A ROW HAHA

So given that I decided to do something a lil special this month. I decided to do Striking the Demon Down, BUT... BUT... THERE'S TWO???? Yeah so if you don't know at some point Saster decided to remaster his old Underswap (or Revenge) megalo and kinda changed it drastically in a lot of ways. Many (including myself) consider this the definitive version of STDD, and so I've made it the A-Side for this cover (although it's based p much entirely on Pork's cover with harmonies from Nick Nitro's Disbelief version). I kinda always felt like this version always fit better for Revenge Papyrus though so that's why the thumbnail has him and his logo emphasized instead of the J (and obviously the old one for the aforementioned J). So shortly after I get this up the B-Side, based on the original version, will go up too.

Speaking of the thumbnail what do you guys think of this cute lil thing I did? I drew that fire column myself, it was very annoying. I couldn't find any that looked good online so I took matters into my own hands. I had to make it thinner too so that it didn't like block their faces. So that effect was a little annoying to make (YOU FUCKERS BETTER LIKE IT >:(🤬🤬)

So like I promised this is, as the kids say, the unc version of STDD, the OG, the old timer. This is what it sounded like back when all UTAU tracks sounded exactly the same instead of simply almost entirely the same, and changing the tempo of a megalo was a revolutionary and unique artistic choice. Given that, I tried to replicate that in this cover, resulting in a pretty simplistic track that only took a few hours to finish. It's still got some of my signatures that I put in basically every track, such as the SGM String backing and the mediocre mixing, but it's one of my more simplistic.

As I said before, I associate this older version of STDD more with the J as opposed to the newer version, so he's the one featured in the thumbnail along with his respective AU. And thus the gimmick has been paid off.
