This is a mix of darkwave/post-punk demos inspired by the sounds of Mareux, Joy Division, Crystal Castles, The KVB, Nürnberg and underground coldwave scene.
I didn't know what to do with them, so I'm making a little mix.

Æmɨt - Devourer

"Devourer of the dead, eater of hearts and great of death"

Fleisch welcomes Swedish electronic super-group Æmɨt, consisting of members from Alvar, D.M.T. & Nuclear Sludge, with their debut EP ‘Devourer’. Elements from each group weave their way into the tracks via primitive industrial arpeggiations, dystopian EBM vocal samples and 303-squelch bass lines, all forming around solid, rhythmic compositions. ‘Devourer’ delivers 4 tracks of primitive, minimal-synth, 16-bit ritual. 

Æmɨt takes its name from the demoness/goddess of ancient Egyptian theology that would devour the hearts of the impure in the afterlife, and ‘Devourer’ is as much an incantation as it is a call to the body. The opening track, taking its title from the EP, lays out a death-chant beneath synth constellations and an underworld horn section. ‘Error’ pits grinding pads against jagged percussive rhythms and ‘Hunter’ swirls beneath layers of filtered white-noise, while ‘Kalabalik’ pushes the tempo toward levels of proto-funeral-techno. 

The goddess Æmɨt was not worshipped; instead, she embodied all that the Egyptians feared, threatening to bind them to eternal restlessness if they were deemed unworthy. ‘Devourer’ summons the listener to their judgement, and which path they take is up to them.

Mosaique Records presents a new release from a Japanese producer named Baroque.

Two original industrially heavy EBM features for the dark areas, bunkers and cellars are united by the Seventh EP concept.

The release also includes two remixes: first one is from the pioneer of the French EBM/Electroclash movement David Carretta, who’s known for his work for such labels as Trust, Gigolo, Space Factory and Blackstrobe; and the second one from the Russian EBM producer Rudiment.

Today we premiere “Der Kind” which is the the seventh track on the album and exemplifies the artist’s raw sound of electro, industrial and body music. All the tracks on the album creep up and take over your system with their violent, infectious rhythms.

The Brvtalist is pleased to present The Awakening: Pestilent Expressions 3, the massive new v/a compilation from L.A.’s The Black Lodge and Texas’ Fantasy 1. This is the third and final benefit compilation of The Awakening series trilogy - over 2 hours and 27 tracks of sonic mayhem. For this volume the labels have decided to donate ALL proceeds from the sales of cassettes to the Covid-19 relief fund of The First Nations Development Institute (www.firstnations.org), along with ALL digital sales of PE3 in the month August. Chisholm is well respected for his underground productions and also plays in the band Chelsea Wolfe.

The UK artist continues his tear across the EBM, rave and industrial spectrums releases tracks that are reminiscent of the 80’s and 90’s sound while maintaining a fresh perspective of the modern world. “Enjoy More”, taken from the LP Manifesto For A Modern World, is the soundtrack to a decade when the rise of the markets and the Ayn Rand philosophy of Objectivism and it’s belief in Laissez-faire capitalism, a form of capitalism devoid of any regulation, ran rampant. The decade of self-interest, a concern for one’s own advantage and well being, and the obsession with wealth accumulation truly took hold. The aftermath of which we are now dealing with today.
