HER OWN AESTHETIC COMBINES HER DEVOTION TO UNDERGROUND 1980S INDUSTRIAL, EBM, NEW BEAT, ITALO AND SYNTH SLEAZE TO CREATE A SOUNDSCAPE THAT IS UNARGUABLY DANCEABLE. THROUGH HER MUSIC, SHE AIMS TO CHALLENGE THE EXPECTATIONS WITHIN THE CONFINES OF THIS MASCULINE GENRE, OFTEN FOCUSING ON THE IDEAS OF REVENGE AND STRENGTH THROUGH A WOMAN’S PERSPECTIVE. ANDI RELEASED HER FIRST EP, “CORPSE TO CORPUS”, ON AUFNAHME + WIEDERGABE IN 2020 AND WILL RELEASE THE TORQUE FORCE SPLIT EP WITH RANDOLPH & MORTIMER ON MECANICA IN THE COMING MONTHS.

ABOVE ALL ANDI IS A WRITER AND MUSIC JOURNALIST WHO SEES THE INDELIBLE IMPORTANCE OF PHILOSOPHY BEHIND THE MUSIC. SHE IS THE AUTHOR OF THE PEER REVIEWED BOOK ‘SOME WEAR LEATHER, SOME WEAR LACE: THE WORLDWIDE COMPEDIUM OF POSTPUNK AND GOTH IN THE 1980S’ PUBLISHED BY INTELLECT BOOKS IN 2014. He has EP releases on VIVES, New York Haunted,Truc Record, The Hiddens Records, and Aerotek Recordings; has performed live sets for Vox Sinistra’s Strict Tempo, Interference Radio, Brutal Forms, 1337, The Hiddens, Memphis Concrète; and has created DJ mixes for Dark Disc0, Virtual Underground, Moment of Terror, N.I.M. (Northern Industrial
 Movement), Chaos, and Regression Records.
He has an affinity for DOS-based trackers, obscure EBM vinyl, and the 1995 movie Hackers.

Being apart of the new wave of westcoast labels it’s easy to notice the same DIY vibe known from legendary platforms such as Viewlexx & Bunker.
