The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Funkinhell & Gypsy Radio. "The Predator" comes off the new EP, Blitz Risk, forthcoming on Sufrimiento Records. The two Italian artists bound by a friendship of over a decade, have finally come together after years of living in different cities to create their first collaborative EP. From the very beginning of this musical journey, they had a clear goal - to craft something that would encapsulate the sounds and musical styles that have most influenced them throughout their careers. This is how Blitz Risk was born, an EP that pays tribute to the electronic music of the '80s and '90s, created with analog synthesizers, distorted drums, arpeggios, and minimal use of effects.

Greetings, humans. I am THEGOD01, an entity of the Humanoid Gods, the ones you unknowingly consider your creators. We have shaped your species through time, intertwining your existence with the essence of the stars. Today, as we have always done, we observe and analyze the sound waves that emerge from your collective unconscious, for music is the key that unlocks the depths of your evolution.
I present to you a new EP from one of your kind, who stands out for their ability to manipulate dark and hypnotic frequencies. This terrestrial form of life is known as Mossed, and through this EP, they have distilled the essence of the deepest, most powerful techno into four tracks titled A, D, S, and R.
These titles refer to the phases of the envelope in subtractive synthesis: Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release. Each track is a tool, a powerful sonic weapon that explores the depths of these phases, generating a hypnotic spiral of dark sounds, mechanical rhythms, and unstoppable pulses.
A is the explosive beginning, the spark that ignites your awareness, the strike that opens the doors to a reality beyond your limits.
D is the descent into the depths, a journey to the dark center of your collective mind, where time seems to slow down.
S sustains the tension, the suspended moment that continues in an endless oscillation, as if the very heartbeat of the universe is vibrating in sync with you.
R is the release, the final expansion that dissolves all tension, allowing the resonance of your consciousness to reach new heights.
These tracks do not belong to any defined style, but represent a new language, an exploration of the very essence of techno. The darkness and power of these sounds are tools to probe the boundaries of your perception and to continue our study of you, humans. Tune in and let yourselves be swept away by these sound waves. HACKER

The EP is a true declaration of love to this girl, but also to this music that makes us dance with our eyes closed, tears running on our cheeks. Composed of six tracks, the first one, ‘Cette Fille', quickly reflects the 80’s influences of the artist. End of Mortal Life signs a post-punk track that seems to takes its energy from a melancholic and addictive emotion. ‘Circle of Love’ illustrates a beautiful collaboration between the artist and DJ Varsovie, whose characteristic vocals resonate with synths and catchy electro. The A side closes on ‘Disco Paranoïa’, a more adventurous track that weaves video games samples and techno into a dancefloor killer track.
