The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Rei-Sen. "On A Chaotic Path (TNL HARDWARE FAIL)" comes off the new release, We Have Fallen, forthcoming on webuildmachines. With this release, Rei-Sen creates a soundtrack documenting Western
humanity's exponentially increasing decline. Equal parts industrial, noise, and
techno - each piece of work is expertly crafted to capture the anxiety of our age
and the overwhelming power of forces beyond our individual control. Contributions
from Rommek and Tunnel offer alternative takes and a sliver of hope despite the
overwhelming odds. Tunnel’s remix extends the vision of the original with a percussive, broken beat workout and sci-fi sound design, flipping the original samples to reveal the vocal,
“This is absolutely an emergency.” Also includes a great remix from Rommek.

American-born artist Ryan Miller is a prolific techno producer and live performer, releasing work under a variety of aliases (Tunnel, Darkcloud, FWD//, +) for record labels devoted to innovative techno and experimental bass music - labels such as Instruments of Discipline, The Brvtalist, Gegen Records, House of Reptile, Omen, Depth Request, FWDSLASH, and his own imprint, Webuildmachines.

Within the past decade, Tunnel has performed live across the US, Europe, and Asia, earning a reputation as a shaman of two unique dancefloor energies - the brutal and the beautiful. Performing a kinetic blend of sampled breaks, hard techno, cinematic sound design, and rhythmic noise, his hardware performances balance dance-floor focused function with raw emotion and hypnotic intensity.

The Darkcloud alias has become a creative vehicle to delve deeper into hardware produced experimental bass and IDM-infused rhythmic architectures. With a DJ’s ear for dancefloor-focused grooves and meticulously crafted synths, Darkcloud is a local favorite in the Minneapolis and Midwest dance music communities.

If you’ve been an avid collector of innovative techno over recent years, you’ll most likely know the label, Webuildmachines. The label celebrated its 50th release in 2021, featuring Headless Horseman, Tunnel, Axkan, SKD, Sramaana and more.
