Depth.Request presents their latest release "No Tears, No Sighs, Only Tomorrow Vanishes Scraps" by KHLD, a deeply evocative EP where the artist crafts a narrative that intertwines personal emotions with the poignant visual poetry of the Japanese animated surrealist film Belladonna of Sadness (1973). Inspired by the film, this EP serves as both a sonic tribute to the movie’s protagonist, Jeanne, and a reflection on the broader themes of female suffering and resilience. 
The EP is a masterful blend of experimental electronic and dark ambient music which create an immersive and mind-altering sonic experience. 
The cover art features a depiction of Jeanne alongside the belladonna plant, both reflecting the EP’s thematic.

[BR-043] V/A - RIGOR MORTIS (pt.1) delivers a harsh soundscape filled with a captivating array of dark, varied noises from the depths. It begins with a slow descent, pulling you in until time seems to slip away. As the trip unfolds it tests your patience, driving tension to the edge, periodically shifting and controlling the overall mood. The interplay of muffled, strange, and surreal sonic textures draws you further into darkness. The experience feels as if you're being torn from reality, drifting into the unknown, caught in a blurred dream where everything around either contracts or expands. Piercing sounds occasionally pull you back to reality, or for some, cast you into a void perhaps even a state of expanded consciousness.
