Hello everyone my name is Jordan donnelly I’m from a little village called seaham in the north east of England it’s near Sunderland I got into music later on in life after having a lot of personal demons and troubles but after my son was born and we found out he had autism I changed my ways and started concentrating on being a good dad but with autism they can get quite upset sometimes so I would sing to my son and it would really help calm him down i never considered myself a good singer or anything I have not even sang in my life really before up to that point but it helped him and what became as something to help him became my passion to actually get into music share my story of my past my life my journey iv always been able to write poems and things so I started song writing and really working hard to improve my voice and skills and really just fine tune myself as a artist now after been training for a few years I feel ready to put my music and journey out there I hope you all enjoy my music I do covers and original songs mainly in the genres of indie folk acoustic abit soft rock singer/songwriter pretty much open to all styles I’m open for collaborations if your interested please get in contact with me I will leave some details on here thanks everyone for taking the time to read this much appreciated 🙂

Simon Taylor is a singer-songwriter from Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Simon's music combines elements of rock, pop and Latin with influences ranging from Serge Gainsbourg to Leonard Cohen. Simon has been performing his rock, pop and Latin-influenced songs regularly since 2011 while based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. His upcoming new e.p "Stars" is a collection of mellow folk/ pop / jazz ballads recorded and produced at Chilli Studios in Newcastle upon Tyne by The Baghdaddies’ musical maestro Ziad Jabero and featuring his brother Paul Taylor on keys. The Latin pop track "Bella Señora" is the second single to be released from this e.p.

I have written, recorded and performed live with a variety of projects including the Indian Postal Service, Handbrake Shirley, Scrogan's Run, Mission to the Watchers, The Hey Down Treaders, Foragers and most recently Bossyking and Ghostfield- as well as writing and performing solo material. I thrive within collaboration and I am lucky enough to have worked alongside a very talented group of musicians in the local independent music scene. 
My musical influences are diverse and include Bob Dylan, Sylvan Esso, Alt-J, Talking Heads, Jon Hopkins, Nils Frahm, Devendra Banhart, Betty Harris, Jeffery Lewis, Grace Jones, Captain Beefheart, Lou Reed, Betty Davis, Nick Cave,Everything Everything, Sam Robinson, JJ Cale, Gil Scott-Heron, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Jack Kerouac, Patrick Kavanagh, Woodie Guthrie and dancing badly to classic disco.

Bunkeruk is an independent record label based in the city of Sunderland and only works with fresh talent from within the local area.
