Here's the first hour of my set played on the Sunday evening at 6pm at Springkell in Scotland. A beautiful small party curated and organised by Ario from https://soundcloud.com/astralindustries and soundcloud.com/o-utlier It was a magical few days with so much great music and friendly faces at every turn. 

I was feeling a little fragile when i stepped up to play after 2 days of indulgence but enjoyed warming things up. Already looking forward to next year! Thanks to Moy Santana for the recording and to all the Springkell crew : )

Verdant Session 22_9

This set was recorded live at The Bunker at Public Assembly on August 3, 2012.  Pittsburgh Track Authority drove from Pittsburgh in a car packed to the brim with gear and filled up the entire stage with all live hardware their set-up.  Their live sets are quite rare in general, and this was their first and (so far) only live gig outside the city of Pittsburgh.  As you can hear, they absolutely murdered the place.  They've since put out a bunch more records and will be self-releasing their debut album this year.

En sus más de 20 años de carrera musical, Alejandro Rodríguez aka "Kresy", ha publicado sus producciones de house music en varios sellos de renombre internacional como Hivern Discs, Freerange o Shall Not Fade y ha figurado en los playlist de grandes de la escena como Steve Bug, Four Tet, Nick Höppner, Catz 'n Dogz o Jennifer Cardini.

Como dj ha recorrido en varias ocasiones las salas y festivales más importantes de España (Sónar Barcelona, Bilbao BBK Live, Nitsa Club, Razzmataz, Goa, Café Berlín, Piknik, Brunch Electronik, Electrosplash etc.) y ha actuado en algunos clubs emblemáticos de Europa como Panorama Bar (Berlín), Corsica Studios (London) y el desaparecido Throw (Amsterdam). 

Es el propietario del sello Discomaths y utiliza otros pseudónimos para lanzar sus producciones como Bep Kororoti (Hivern Discs, Modern Obscure Music) y Crazy Paris (música de stock para Artlist).  

Recientemente acaba de publicarse su última referencia en vinilo (finales de año en digital) para el sello Shir Khan Presents Black Jukebox de Exploited.

Life films us exactly. Our experience of it, though, lies beyond images and descriptions. Emotions, coming in irrational flashes, are non-figurable. We lose our little connection to them very quickly. We look for forms with this in mind : so they can take us to meet the subconscious. Chain reaction was a sublabel of Basic Channel founded in 1995. Peter Kuschnereit aka Substance, René Löwe aka Vainqueur, Torsten Pröfrock aka Various artists and Resilent, Andy Mellwig, Thomas Köner aka Porter Ricks, Gerhard Behles, Robert Henke, Torsten Pröfrock aka Monolake formed some of the artists of the now defunkt label.

Chain reactions is a mix tribute to the label / 1995-2003, it is influenced by glitch techno, dub and ambient. Sounds of CR are captured within tiny fragments of time and then within one’s mindspace. I think it’s important to play this mix on a decent system so you can really hear and feel the interactions between the delays, the warm basslines and the soundscapes that surrounds them.

In German : Das Leben erfasst unser Dasein mit filmischer Präzision. Unsere subjektive Erfahrung aber versagt sich diesen scharf gezeichneten Bildern und Beschreibungen. Unsere Gefühle, unsere Affekte – sie strömen in irrationalen Momentaufnahmen auf uns ein und sind in ihrer Intensität nicht messbar. Schnell entgleiten uns diese Wahrnehmungen in ihrer Flüchtigkeit. Mit dieser Prämisse sehnen wir uns immer wieder nach deren Gestalt: Damit sie uns dem Unterbewussten begegnen lassen. Chain Reaction wurde im Jahre 1995 als Sublabel von Basic Channel gegründet. 20 years ago Bryan Kasenic started The Bunker New York as an event series on New York's then-gritty Lower East Side. In 2014 he created a record label to provide an outlet for the work of friends, party-goers and visiting artists. Over the years, The Bunker NY has grown into an established institution which is well known for its steady output of high quality releases and its reputation as one of North America’s finest event series.
