Born and raised in Los Angeles into a musical family, Will Champlin holds his own from playing Piano on Michael Jacksons last record, reaching top 3 of season 5 of THE VOICE, to co-writing 'Wolves' from One Directions 'Made in The AM' record. Once a graduate of Berklee College of Music, Will toured as a musician with the likes of Santana, Billy Ray Cyrus, to Glen Frey of the 'Eagles' and more. His songwriting work on Heather Headley’s 2010 “Audience of One” earned him 2 grammy wins. Propelled by a loyal & amazing fanbase known as "The Champs" Will was able to reach the Billboard hot 100 with his rendition of "At Last. In July of 2014 Will released his Record known as 'Borrowing Trouble' which is available for download which features 'Heat Of Passion' used for HBO's 2014 fall preview, and 'Eye of the Pyramid' in which he returned to the Voice stage. Champlin is always sharpening his arrows of creativity to hit the bulls eye and make his mark in such a hugely competitive world of music.

Red started out in Orlando's infamous Studdogs. They blew up shortly after signing to Orange Recordings and Red moved home to Muscle Shoals, Al. Since then Red has released four records, toured the States and Europe, had two hit videos in Estonia with his friend Andres Roots and is still going! This writer of song, story and poem is indescribable! Gospel, field hollers, punk, blues, crooners and country inform him but none define him.

Après "We Need Fiction", premier EP voguant sur les thèmes du cosmos et du rêve, l’indentité des Burning Rods est désormais clairement affichée. Influencé par Blur, David Bowie ou encore les Dandy Warhols, leur show énergique, narrant leur épopée spatiale, immerge le spectateur dans un véritable univers onirique. Trois ans d’existence et une quarantaine de concerts, dont quelques belles premières parties (SuperBus, Phyltre, Transgunner...), permettent au groupe d'afficher une expérience scénique confirmée. Enrichie de sonorités Electro, leur musique Pop/Rock s’inscrit dans un registre qui n’effraie aucun public. Laissez-vous embarquer dans la navette « The Burning Rods ».

Avril 2013, ils remportent le prix "TREMA", un tremplin Isérois qui leur a accordé une bourse d’aide au développement. Les Burning Rods signent alors "Quantic Dream", un second EP, avec des titres taillés pour la scène, comprenant "l'Odyssée", leur première chanson en français. Le groupe dispose également du soutien des MJC en Drôme-Ardèche (victoire du tremplin "Les Oreilles du Renard") et s’est déjà fait repérer par Dynamusic qui inclut le morceau "The Space Journey" sur leur compilation "La cuvée Grenobloise".
