We're so happy to finally be releasing our good friend Towlie DJ's epic remix of our tune Mindmasher!

Upon hearing our original track he told us he knew exactly what he wanted to do with it so we sent him the stems and waited patiently while he turned the song into a dance-floor filler!

Looks like the rat's out of the bag! 

After half a year of hard work, we are delighted to present our debut album, 'Out Of The Bag'. The album traverses through many styles and genres and we feel it does a good job of representing the various sounds we create together. We hope you enjoy listening and please do share it with your friends, play it at parties and generally continue to help spreading the word. The support of our fans is what keeps us going. 

We have had CDs printed but due to most of the band being away traveling over the winter we will not be running an official mail order service until spring 2018. However if you missed the Crowdfunder campaing and you're desperate to get a copy of the CD, give us a Facebook message or email and we'll see if we can get one out to you! 

Fellow rats, we must sincerely thank you all. Everyone who has supported the crowdfunding campaign, danced to our music, spread the word or helped us in any way, we truly would have no purpose without you. Special thanks to all the hard working festivals, venues and promotors who have booked us to come and play. Your work is what keeps the music alive!

The Cabarats bring a new musical experience to the global underground, combining traditional Balkan and Middle Eastern sounds with lively reggae and ska.

Using a collection of intriguing instruments such as accordion, oud, keyboard and brass, the band have dazzled a wide range of audiences from festival crowds to private functions and community events.

After the successful release of their debut album 'Out of the Bag', the last year has been an exciting journey for the rats. The band appeared on one of the main stages at Boomtown Fair and gained the attention of BBC Introducing, performing on their stage at Looe Saves the Day. 

2018 also saw the band support renowned acts Tankus the Henge and The Undercover Hippy, before they embarked on a tour of France and played some special wedding parties. 

Once again The Cabarats set out to share their magic at festivals, venues, parties and even a few street corners. Keep your eyes peeled for a performance near you!
