Jumped on the turn tables last night! Decided to get out of my comfort zone. This mix has a lot of reggae influences with a new school jungle feel. Quite possibly my favorite thing i have ever done. How i used to do mixes...no plan... no pre set preparing just picking tracks out of the digital recordbag at random and seeing where it goes.

Logo got started playing House and Trance primarily, but found out before long that his true love was Drum and Bass. Out at a show one night, Logo heard local don Big Worm mash up Britney Spears' 'Toxic' with Pendulum's 'Slam' and heard his calling come through at 170 BPM. Not long after, he did a feature mix for the Shadow Shogun blog that was heard by Big Worm himself, who then elected to put him on the bill for Shimon back in 2009. After playing a few more shows and building his name up around Calgary, Worm again tapped Logo to be part of the 403DNB roster when it was first assembled.

Since then, Logo has been an integral member and proud promoter of the team, building a legacy for himself and his crew simultaneously. He has been a fixture at the 403DNB's weekly residency as it moved from Quincy's to TYN, to Bronco, and has carved out a reputation as a Drum and Bass DJ that combines strong technical skills with a flair for the dramatic–none of his sets would be complete without one of his characteristic hip hop mash-ups.

Logo also spins house music under the alias ’Hidio’.The alter-ego is a recent progression, motivated by a long-standing desire to get behind the production boards. True to its copyright-spellchecked namesake Hideo, a cybernetic ninja from William Gibson’s “Neuromancer,” this manifestation of the artist is understated but precise, and always on point.
