When it comes to Sorcery and its associated fan audio project, this one goes darker than any albums before it. However, it's also more of a direct sequel to the very first Sorcery album from last year. It's truly an experience to listen to, as is the episode!

Sorcery Vol. 4

The main theme for the episode. I considered releasing this as a single, but I believe that being the final track on this album truly benefits it. It stars a solo vocalist performing with the 'synth metal' ensemble and orchestra. It's a piece that can be interpreted in several ways upon multiple listens, but I'll keep my intended interpretation to myself. After all, part of the fun of writing music is gaining insight through others' eyes (or ears, rather). Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy this and the rest of the album; Volume 5 won't be far behind. Promise!

Hell is Empty

SP02B was written for the Omnibus project like the other two, but it was done with the episode's scene in mind. Thus, when it came time for editing, it worked perfectly!

One Life's Value

This is a variation of Manipulation that I've wanted to write ever since I did the very first one. It's less focused on being incidental and more on just being a delight to listen to, and the whole chorus returns for this one.

Manipulation II

This cue starts as a mix between BLD01A and Anxiety but soon becomes an original theme written for one of the primary antagonists within the story.

Insomnia

This variation of Manipulation is one of the first pieces I wrote in preproduction for the episode, and it ended up fitting perfectly into its intended action scene.

A Piece of Yourself

Consequences with a fair amount of intensity! This one was written for general use within the episode, so it ended up being split between two scenes in the end.

By Light of Day

This slow and somewhat tense variation of BLD01A was written for a scene in the episode, so it syncs up with it rather nicely in practice.

Fear Worse Than Failure

BLD01A was another leitmotif written for my Omnibus project, but I found that this project suited it perfectly (as so often happens with these)!

The Stuff of Nightmares

A variation of Time and Sorcery written for a more downtrodden planning scene within the episode.

A Sorcerer's Loss

This is an incidental cue I wrote for the episode that contains hints to Anxiety from Volume 1 as well as Sarah Jane's theme from my Doctor Who Rescored project. The second half is a piano variation of the Hell is Empty leitmotif, and the last one we'll be hearing for a while.

Something Was Wrong

BCS03A is a fun little magical track I wrote as a part of my Omnibus project that was lucky enough to find a home here. It's so nice when that happens!

Best Laid Plans

The synth metal conquest continues here! Consequences from Volume 1 is back with a vengeance, with SynthV leading the charge.

Consequences II

This is the first full-length rendition of the Hell is Empty leitmotif in the episode, preformed here on synthesizers and strings.

Peace in Our Reflections

A dark, brooding variation of 'Manipulation' from volume 1, which will be playing a large part in the score for this episode as well.

The Strength from Beyond

This cue, the first one that was written for the story, serves the important task of setting up several returning leitmotifs from volume 1 & 2. It also introduces the main one for episode 4, Hell is Empty.

Prelude to Hell
