A year ago, when my bro Ammar (he anti-social media) and I sat down and started plotting what my first project would look like, I told him I wanted to create something that I could give to my kids in 20 years and say “here - this is who your father was at 22 years of age”. This EP is basically a snapshot of my life right now; of all the struggles, the challenges, the dreams and aspirations, the highs, and the lows that make me me. It’s my way of giving you a chance to get to know me but also a way of getting to know myself a little better. Somehow, we managed to extract 6 diverse songs from piles and piles of music of which you’ll hear ALOT of. This is just the beginning of the beginning. Thank you to the amazing people I keep around me and everyone who helped me put this together.
