Hailing from arguably one of America’s most influential musical cities Chicago, The Circle View are a critically acclaimed rock band powered by the individual virtuosity of Lance Ayers. With three albums already under their belt, the five-piece band have continuously evolved to add to the rich tapestry of rock culture whilst staying true to their roots.

Lance Ayers is undoubtedly the driving force behind the band that has seen him showcase all his formidable song-writing talents to ever-growing audiences. Criss-crossing America from coast to coast, The Circle View have consistently proven their worth and were rewarded for their hard work by performing at The Oppikoppi Festival (Johannesburg South Africa).

Inspired on a spiritual, musical and business level by the mercurial Prince, Ayers has spent a lifetime immersed in music, and his musical heritage is reflected in every lick or phrase he delivers through his compositions. From the age of four he learned the piano and started on a journey that saw him earn a music degree in classical Piano and Voice. 

That education has seen him transform as a talented multi-instrumentalist capable of playing the guitar, bass guitar, drums and percussion, harmonica, tenor and baritone saxophone, cello and clarinet.

That education has seen Ayers touched by a stunning array of artists as his voice and musicianship has matured over the years. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, The Police, The Clash, Bowie, Talking Heads, Al Green, Sam Cooke, The Black Crows, Nirvana and the Foo Fighters are just some of those acts that have contributed to his development as an artist. Fusing heavy Rock guitar riffs with Jazz, Blues and Soul have become the defining qualities which helped to keep the band at the forefront of people’s minds as they continue producing an outstanding body of work.

Their three albums to date ‘The Greater Good’, ‘The Dither Age’ and ‘The Love Rebellion’ explore all the narratives of modern life. With clear messaging around inequality, failed relationships, love and social commentary, the albums migrate between rock symphonies and fully fledged head bangers. This sonic complexity has also seen the band receive support from Chicago Radio including DJs James VanOsdol and Erin Carmen.
 
Most notable is the support from multi-Grammy winning artists such as Robert Cutarella that are a testament to his burgeoning talent.

Not staying idle and as we progress into a new dawn of musical possibilities, The Circle View will release a fourth album of new work in the near future.
