Massive shout out to the man like Pandar aka Dan Parsons for another mix for the show. This time he joins us with the newly named 'One for Later' mix series (we're going gender neutral) and he shares with us some of favourite early morning, sunny day, late night grooves.

He's been busy pushing out summer dance banger 'Your Lovin' which is on playlists around the world and featured on played on BBC Radio 1 Dance 'Introducing'. A few words from the man himself:

"Throughout the past twelve months, the last thing I’ve actually done is search for dancefloor and party music. The break from nightclubs has enabled me to fall back in love with much more soulful, jazzy and laid back stuff that I’ve always adored. 

My ‘One For Later’ mix features a lot of music that has been building in my playlists over time and it feels good to finally put it all into one project that fits the vibe. I’ve opened with some late night jazz, progressing into glittering disco & soul and closing with some smooth breaks & broken beat. Enjoy!"

The second half of my set at Deep Space this past Sunday. Pictured next to me in the photo is the one and only 'Mixmaster' Michael Gomes, who was playing lights all night as only he can.

Things started pretty normal in this mix, but what I found interesting is that it kept building up in intensity and actually got rather  emotional towards the end. Besides myself and Michael in the booth, we're talking about how those people who were actually there in person seemed to feel. Will it translate that way when listening over a stream? Good question.

But don't expect much if any 'beat-mixing' to speak of for the last hour. Yet another most interesting observation: less beat-mixing, more emotion. I certainly welcome comments on this particular topic.

One thing I know for sure: there were so many beaming faces  when the lights came up, and the sort of joyful vibe which I treasure so much.
