219 - Tony Humphries - Mix The Vibe (1996)

Uploading some old mixes in light of the new, relaxed rules for DJ mixes on SoundCloud... if it's true... shout out to SoundCloud!

This mix was originally done in 2006 for a bit of fun just before Valentines Day. Something to get the lovers in the mood with smooth sounds and (mostly) female vocals throughout. It was supposedly played by a Leeds radio station thanks to my mate Allie, and was one of my most popular mixes before it eventually got took down. But now it's back for your listening pleasure, enjoy!

One for the Ladies Vol.1  - GarethisOnit (2006)

Re-loading this now mixes on SoundCloud seem to have some breathing space. It's the third mix in the 'One for the Ladies' mix take a 'Dubai Ladies Night' twist, banging out class chart from the 80's, 90's and beyond that the lasses love mixed in with a few cooler numbers like Slum Village amongst others.

It also pretty much sums up the vibe down at LeftBank on a Wednesday night where I used to play.

GarethisOnit / Mode 7:
Digital creative type, gamer, music lover and occasional DJ. Currently living in Dubai after setting sail from Sunderland in 2010.
