In a time when people are so prideful in their online wellness, yet so quick to hack someone down, Kosha Dillz gives birth to the synthy produced song  "humble man;"  a trash talking anthem for those who have kept quiet for too long.

Producer Jeremiah Raisen came on board early for the Humble Man track a year ago, which culminated with him just hitting #1 on the top 100 writing for Lizzo's Truth Hurts. Fat Tony, a long time hip hop friend Of Kosha Dillz came on the song most recently adding a houston flair of southern bounce to Dillz vibey message. The track is the launch of Dillz' album Nobody Cares Except You,  which boasts features from Fat Tony and Matisyahu as well as production from both Sam Barsh and Jeremiah Raisen.

So what does Dillz have to say about the track? 


"The timing of how  I am releasing the track is sort of proof about eating the humble pie. The producer has a #1 writing record and the release party is at Wu tang show in NYC right after their HULU show drops. Not many people can do what we all do on a track. We need to speak up for ourselves a little more and tell others what we really think. This is why it it was the first song to be written or Nobody Cares Except You."

My Grandma died August 4th 2019.  The night before she passed I had a dream I was talking to my younger cousin Brazil.  She was telling me how sad she was, and I said "I'm sad too, we're all sad.  You're not losing her, I'm not losing her, we're all losing her together, and that's the biggest sign that we are family.  (If only I was that well spoken when I'm awake. )After we had our dream convo, the piano melody of this song started playing.  When I woke up I set my computer up in Grandma's room and started working on this song.  We had broken the computer down in the living room to make room for out of towner's and for her hospital bed because she came home from the hospital, incapacitated.  It took me the whole day, while family was coming in and out of the house.  I did not finish it by the time she passed, but what I did finish I quietly played for her as we realized that she was passing.  She died peacefully in her house surrounded by her family and friends.  We will all love you forever.
