Cinderella’s song about dreams and beautiful wishes is perfect for  the Christmas/Holiday season. I tried to keep the delicacy and innocence of the song. This is the original version with a twist on the theme. Classic, vintage Disney music brings beautiful childhood memories back..It was very difficult to record with acoustic piano and I hope I brought this familiar song some justice!

Odd background here, something I came up with probably 40 years ago where I made an initial recording and just made up words off the cuff to record the song idea. Having listened to it all these years without ever crafting some more thought out lyrics, (I did an earlier version using the original base track here on SC about 9 years ago) I sort of got used to it and have grown to embrace the words as they came out. Somehow there is meaning to them I can relate to as I recall the time frame. So recently I did this version, sticking with the lyrics and adding some harmonies and simple mandolin accents. Hopefully some folks will relate.
