Inspired by M. John Harrison's Course of the Heart and the film A Dark Song.

First comes the rose and then the salt lines

The Caravelles, Lois Wilkinson (born in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, England) and Andrea Simpson (born in Finchley, London), were a British duo girl band.  Their single  "You Don't Have to Be a Baby to Cry" peaked on the  US Billboard charts at no. 3 in 1963, (before the British invasion).
