Akshay Mathker is an Indian DJ & electronic music producer born in 1991 based in Goa.
His love for a perfect groove is as apparent now as it was back then.
From the very early days of playing drums on several religious occasions and folk festivals, it was clear there was a strong talent waiting to be nurtured. With years of isolation and hardwork in the studio, Akshay’s very first productions were released in 2017 even though his musical career had started a decade before as a DJ.
Tastefully blending the barriers between restrained, deeply underground roots and remarkably versatile, euphoric moments, Akshay plays a more heads down yet energised version of techno that stays dubbed out and hypnotic but ready for a dance-floor. 
This has lead him to land his releases on imprints such as Electronic Tree, BQ Recordings and BC2 Records.

A simple and laid-back presence in the booth, persuades and resonates all of his musical complexity onto the dance floor, the narrator, embarks on a quest where no one is left behind and it is with an infectious energy that his listeners follow him wherever he leads.

My vision of techno is quite ritualistic, my aim is to generate dark but yet groovy and impactful atmospheres, using hypnotic sounds to impact the mind, but also caring a lot of about the percussion and grooves behind those, impacting the body as well. Through that combination, we can generate an impact on the soul.
But where there's darkness there's light, so through sparkles of light and melody I try to show that opposites are not that far one from each other.
This is my personal journey through universe shaped into sound.
