"Commanding a space within the deeper realms of techno, vinyl only DJ, producer and record label owner Mary Yuzovskaya has been cultivating her unique orbit in the electronic dance music firmament for over 16 years.

Starting her journey as a DJ in the mid-2000s, Mary found herself in Berlin, where she received recognition for both her blisteringly-precise vinyl-only techno sets and her painstakingly professional approach to the craft of DJing. After relocating to NYC in 2013 Mary quickly became a key figure in the US scene, performing regularly at different venues including multiple residencies at some of the city’s institutional parties like Unter, where she was a staple for three years, as well as working as a vinyl distribution manager at renowned Brooklyn-based record shop Halcyon. Back in Berlin since 2020, Mary solely runs her very own record label called Monday Off, launched in 2017, where she curates and presses work from artists that explore techno's trippier, more hypnotic side. 

Mary has been busily traveling the world and performing her unique take on techno music’s psychedelic vibes at many noted clubs and parties across the world, including Basement (NY), Berghain/Panorama Bar, Carbone (Paris), Compound (LA), Gare (Porto), IFZ (Leipzig), Kablys (Vilnus), OHM (Berlin), Output (Brooklyn), Rote Sonne (Munich), RSO and Tresor (Berlin), to name only a few. Mary's productions are released on such labels as Kvalia, Mnestic, Semantica, System Revival as well as her own Monday Off imprint."

We are super excited to present the 88th podcast featuring a deep, progressive subterranean 1h30 mix from Yüri filled with classy warm 4x4 tones & textures, a perfect soundscape for a winter's amble.

Yuri’s passion for the electronic music scene began already in Barcelona from a young age where he found his place in a new community. Mostly being precent as a photographer his motivation to mix started from an ‘’inside feeling of sharing what it feel needs to be shared in the moment that needs to be shared“ and he wanted to give more to the techno community. Now he is living in Berlin where he expanded his knowledge of music. Yuri is co founder of the parties X concept by Room Trax where he is also resident DJ and brings all the creative direction of the brand. For him multidisciplinary is super important because besides of Dj, he is mainly an artist, curator and founder of YF Agency (agency of content creation and visual artists for the electronic music scene.)

In his work as a producer, we can find a wide range of styles varying from Deep Techno, Experimental and Ambient.

In the beginning of 2018, he started his own record label called KVLTÖ RECORDS, focused on Deep Techno, Ambient, Experimental, Hypnotic and Techno sounds.

His world of music is being built in an increasingly distinct style, perhaps as a fixed part of deep techno. Abundance of synth melody with harmony charm. The kick that leads the power and the percussion that supports it. And ironically, the sudden appearance and disappearance of the break makes his music more self established.

The Moon In The Water.

The moon in the water is a powerful symbol, reflecting our deepest thoughts and emotions. It speaks to the fluidity of life and the constant changes we face. The moon and water represent the ebb and flow of time, reminding us that everything is temporary and that nothing stays the same.
From a philosophical perspective, the moon in the water can be seen as a metaphor for the soul's journey. Our lives are like waves constantly moving and changing, yet a deeper essence remains. This essence is our soul; just like the moon, it shines brightly and illuminates the world.
The moon in the water also holds great significance regarding the relationship between life and death. Just like the moon disappears from view each night, only to return, our lives have a beginning and an end. However, just like the moon's light continues to shine even when it is not visible to us, our impact and influence can continue to be felt long after we are gone.
In techno music, the moon in the water represents the energy and creativity that drives the genre forward. The constant movement and change of the music mirror the flow of life, reminding us to embrace change and to keep pushing forward. The deep, pulsing beats and hypnotic rhythms of techno music transport us to another world, just as the moon in the water transports us to a place of reflection and introspection.

Headliner/LaGuru  Founder of Feed The Raver
Jenny Arredondo is a true Techno enthusiast. A music and dance-floor lover. A crazy healthy raver that would dance for hours and hours to proper Techno beats and bass. She is known as the "Dancing Queen" in the underground NYC Techno scene and around the world. Her passion for music has no limits; she has music in her blood.
 
Jenny's music exploration journey began in 2012, and she plays and produces Deep Techno, Ambient and Electronica under the names "Headliner" and "La Guru". Her album "Techno Inquisition" was released on November 16th 2013 and her second album "Ubiquitous" was released on December 28th 2014. Her release "Dark Invader" was included in the compilation REGENERATION by the Spanish label Doppt Zykkler//Series on June 15th, 2015. Her track Headliner - Planck Epoch was included in the (DE19) Deep Diversity Vol. 3 - Deep Electronics Compilation released on November 5th, 2015. Her first EP "Rose Red Wounds" was released on July 16th 2021 also on the dutch label Deep Electronics. Her latest release "A New Hope" was a contribution to the Mastoid Kollektive - PINK in support of breast cancer and was featured along other tracks by amazing techno and house legends.
 
She organized underground techno events in New York for almost a decade and also hosted events in Detroit, Mexico City, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Playa del Carmen. In 2015, Headliner also became part of Female Pressure, an international network of female artists in electronic music and digital arts founded by Electric Indigo. You will often find her listening and discovering new tracks and artists, also at Techno events having the time of her life.
Feed The Raver is a podcast radio show that supports local techno artists from around the world including amazing guests like Dino Sabatini, Electric Indigo, Grand River, Saphileaum, The Alchemical Theory and many more...It also produced official press Detroit Movement Electronic Music Festival with yearly video interviews and photo coverage from 2012- 2016. Also was a media partner of Charivari Detroit festival in 2016.

Quadrant Soundscape: 
Duo consisting of Tommy Harrison (aka Asphalt Layer) and Wilson Logan (aka Scavenger) from Manchester. Together, they are the minds behind the Dub Explorations Radio Show, which has also been running live events at the famous Eastern Bloc Records for over 4 years.

The Radio Show itself has reached 100 shows, all 3 hours in length which is an insight into the dedication they have for hunting underground music to showcase and push forward. 

Over the years, the boys have featured on many podcasts across the globe, where their creative style of playing Ambient, Dub Techno, Minimal and Detroit Techno on 4 decks, while incorporating live samples is always well received. This has also led to them being invited to play many gigs in Manchester, London and Berlin.

You can also catch Quadrant Soundscape on Bloop London Radio, 12:00 – 1:00pm, on the fourth Thursday, every month for their 'Explorations into Dub' show!

The ship soared through the inky blackness of space, its engines whirring and thrumming as it hurtled towards the unknown. The crew, a motley assortment of scientists, explorers, and engineers, watched with trepidation and excitement as they approached their destination.
And then, without warning, the ship entered a state of dub-like hypnosis. The low, deep vibrations of the engines seemed to take on a life of their own, resonating through the very fabric of the ship and into the crew's minds.
As they slipped deeper and deeper into the hypnotic state, the crew began to experience strange and otherworldly sensations. They saw visions of distant galaxies, planets teeming with life and light, and wonders beyond comprehension.
But with each passing moment, they found it increasingly difficult to distinguish between reality and fantasy. The hypnotic state was so intense and all-encompassing that it seemed to blur the line between real and mere illusion.
As they drifted further into the hypnosis, the crew began to feel a growing sense of unease. What if they were lost forever in this heightened perception, unable to return to the world they knew?
But even as they wrestled with their fears, they couldn't help but be captivated by the strange and wondrous world before them. It was as if they had been transported to a realm beyond space and time, where everything was possible and connected.
In the end, the ship's crew emerged from the hypnosis changed, transformed by the experience in ways they could not yet fully understand. They had journeyed to the very edge of the universe and back again, and in doing so, they had gained a new appreciation for the vastness and complexity of the cosmos.
And yet, for all that they had seen and experienced, they knew there was still much more to explore and discover. The universe was a mystery that would never be fully understood, but that was precisely what made it endlessly fascinating.

Bio/
Ancestral Landscapes, AKA SAAM. (Salvo Pizzuto) is a DJ producer born in the Italian peninsula who has always had a passion for more profound electronic music; clubbing and listening to his favourite DJs have shaped his musical tastes. Salvo started DJing around 2017 at various underground parties in his hometown. His inspirations are selected from the beautiful nature that surrounds him and his mysticism. His sound is based on dark and ambient percussion and modulations.
Salvo is constantly growing, always looking for new hypnotic and atmospheric sounds that can lead the listener on a mental journey of recreating soundscapes.

This Live set was recorded for SubRadio’s anniversary and prepared specifically for the occasion using as set up a Roland Tr-808, Eurorack modular system and various recordings from the Plants Army Revolver.
What a strong experience we experienced, we couldn't have asked for a better streaming to celebrate our two years. Setting of the flight we have enjoyed an out of this world Live set by the hand of the Plants Army Revolver on board countless modular connections, drum machines (that beautiful 808) and their characteristic sound synthesis, always deep, always analog and accompanied in complete harmony by the visual constructions of the great Ruben Castillo. 
Broken and paused rhythms, deep atmospheres of an organic character without equal, enveloping textures in constant expansion and endless hypnotic constructions acting on various points of the body and mind. A true harmonic, mental and esoteric journey to float peacefully around the cosmos through a carefully crafted progression of beautiful soundscapes.

Welcome to yet another hypnotic session. For this one we're glad to introduce  Bohdan.

He is a Ukrainian producer who has a penchant for the atmospheric and cerebral side of techno, exploring its various forms. His discography includes releases on several renowned labels in contemporary techno, such as Informa Records, NORITE, KVLTÖ Records, Northallsen, and Illegal Alien.

Bohdan's sets and original productions traverse a wide spectrum, ranging from introspective, aesthetically pleasing soundscapes, infused with organic atmospheres and spatial arrangements, to the functional, intense, and hypnotic beats that create an immersive techno experience.

In addition to his solo work, Bohdan is also part of the electronic project Asyncronous. In 2020, he launched ÆNIGMA, a series of events in Kyiv that delved into contemporary deep techno and also functioned as a monthly podcast.

Inspired by human emotions, mythology and mysticism, Cauê's music has become a unique blend of various influences from well-known artists such as Reggy Van oers, Polar Inertia, Joachim Spieth, Dino Sabatini and others. As a producer, he has released several tracks and EPs on well-known labels and recently started his own label Ogan Records. With Ogan he dives into a deeper and dark spectrum of Techno, focusing on a dark dense and hypnotic approach, with great driving groove and rhythms directed to the dancefloor.

This mix was recorded entirely from Cauê's production with mostly unreleased material, so keep an eye out on his socials for more updates.

Bohdan is a Ukrainian producer with a passion for the atmospheric and introspective side of techno. He’s also one-half of the electronic project Asyncronous, known for releases on Phonica Records and Slow Life. In 2020, he founded ÆNIGMA, a Kyiv-based event series and monthly podcast dedicated to exploring contemporary deep techno.
