Sonic experiments derived from syncopated rhythms, intricately crafted ambiences, and patiently evolving textures, Pattrn’s work as a producer bases itself on the creation of space and its perception for the audience. Playing violin since the age of four and later on majoring in both acousmatic music composition and sound engineering, Pattrn’s precision is the fruit of a lifelong dedication to music of all forms, from creation in itself or through his implications in Brussels’ scene. 

Beyond the years of technical know-how and self improvement in production, DJing, and live sets,  Brice Deloose aka Pattrn has been an active member of the local scene for quite some time. Cocreator of FTRSND, Brussels By Night Federation, Initiate, as well as having been the artistic director of Fuse club, Pattrn has spent much of his time promoting local artists and collectives to push forward Brussels' underground. 

Having shared the decks with the likes of Luke Slater, Luigi Tozzi, Claudio PRC, Kangding Ray, Svreca, and many more, Pattrn uses his sets to impose his world of seamless hypnotic music to lure passionates for always one last dance.

Latmos is a Finnish Techno producer, DJ and live artist, known from his handcrafted and hypnotic tracks. All of his music is made live with hardware only. He first few attention in the Techno community with his strong debut 12” Pool of Intuition EP, released on Samuli Kemppi’s and Frederik Hatsav’s label Blacklabel Distillery. Latmos has released music on labels such as Subosc and Cinus. The music of Latmos has been supported around the globe by well respected DJs like: Oscar Mulero, Patrik Skoog, Dimi Angelis, P.E.A.R.L, Denise Rabe, Magna Pia, Dino Sabatini, Vincent Neumann, Samuli Kemppi and Juho Kusti to name a few.
Latmos is known from his adventurous style as a DJ. He is able to transition effortlessly from a different mood or tempo to another and keep the listeners always on their toes. As a verstile DJ Latmos can adapt into many different venues and occasions, always bringing something fresh and interesting to the table.

We have already read that his music was dark and cold. She is also beautiful and subtle. Over the years, the french producer Clarence Rise has developed a strong musical identity, always gaining in intensity and singularity, where sharp techno meets icy atmospheres of coldwave.
Author of multiple EP on various labels (Bella Ursa Records, Chez KitoKat Records, DNC Limited, or his own label: Freestate Records), this DJ and Live musician make his shows into real trips, as dynamic as introspective. And his inspiration follows the same path: the self-introspection and the return to nature. The forest is its incubator of ideas, far from the noise of civilization.

This week’s podcast comes at you from Melbourne-based Ian Morrrison aka Morian. It gives us the biggest pleasure to collaborate with individuals around the world exploring the music they love, and new dimensions and depths of their creative expression through mixing. 

In Ian’s own words: “My musical foundations are rooted in AC/DC, Sabbath and Metallica and give rise to a love of 4/4 rhythm and the riff. From here they veered into where worlds collide – Pink Floyd met the Orb in a student dive and a love of electronica was born, encompassing pioneers such as Orbital, Leftfield et al through to UK D&B, taking in Kruder &amp; Dorfmeister and the dub scene along the way. The love affair however ended in the early nineties, I wasn’t feeling anything from electronica any more, but I knew the music I could hear in my mind must be out there - somewhere. My musical imaginations seemed to put all of the above aspects in place and was only discovered pre pandemic in the form of deep techno. This discovery so rekindled my love and excitement that I took the plunge into DJing - I wanted to take the music internally heard and create mixes to ease back to and soothe the soul. Voila. I hope you all get the same level of enjoyment from this mix, as I had creating it.”

Martyn Päsch continues to rise in the Global Scene of Electronic Music.

In his work as a producer, we can find a wide range of styles varying from Deep Techno, Experimental and Ambient.

In the beginning of 2018, he started his own record label called KVLTÖ RECORDS, focused on Deep Techno, Ambient, Experimental, Hypnotic and Techno sounds.

His world of music is being built in an increasingly distinct style, perhaps as a fixed part of deep techno. Abundance of synth melody with harmony charm. The kick that leads the power and the percussion that supports it. And ironically, the sudden appearance and disappearance of the break makes his music more self established.
