CODECAST X - Anomali - Transversal Induction

Our next guest is a one of the founders of @thecodecast. A well crafted music selector his vision of techno is a bit ritualistic, but aims to generate dark yet groovy and impactful atmospheres, using hypnotic sounds to impact the mind and percussion and grooves that impact the body as well. This submission highlights those combinations as a resents a balance of lightness with dark tones to create a beautiful atmosphere of emotions. Let’s keep it real, there are countless memorable mixes out there fueling our cravings for the dancefloor, now more than ever perhaps (unless, unlike us, you've been able to fix yours!) however, podcast #137 courtesy of Anekoic Records co-founder, Hoedus, has really tipped us over the edge, in the best possible way.

We've been fortunate to have plenty of magical dancefloor moments thanks to Hoedus’ productions, the very spirit of which he also skillfully transports into his sets, resulting in trippy, rhythmic, kaleidoscopic sonic stories that for us, are made for mother nature’s stage – a dancefloor under the trees and the stars.


Listening to this gem, we found ourselves eyes closed, with the vibrations of psychedelic soundscapes dancing through and around us as the sun slowly sets, the cool air touching our skin and rustling the trees as we move in sync with the rhythms, surrounded by fellow revelers equally as immersed in the perfect moment uniting nature and music.

We can’t help but get all poetic about it!

His broad spectrum of musical nuances is quite admirable. Thanks to that fact and being able to oscilate between genres, he creates variable and profound atmospheres which come together as a whole.

Adelia _I started discovering techno and djing in 2015. The time at the beginning was full of dark and experimental techno. In two years I found the best way for me in deep and hypnotic vibes. It gave me the opportunity to play many nights  in the legendary Cross club in Prague, many cities around Slovakia and also Budapest. I love certain harmony between tracks that create feeling from another dimension but time to time with a little bit dark flavour. Currently  my life in another country  gives me inspiration in nature. Calm in the forest, energy from mountains, deepness in  the sea, warm colours from the sunset.
