CODECAST X - Exotherm - Textured Chemicals

For this edition of our Codecast X session we'd like to present a great artist whose music we've always loved and admired, Vanta.

Originally from a metalcore and hardcore background he has always enjoyed electronic and experimental music. 
Heavily influenced by this and the techno scene he finds inspiration in impulsive rhythms, dissociative sounds and dark & eerie atmospheres. 
As a founding member of PVC he is also co-organising raves in clubs and woods around the Leipzig area (Germany). 
For a few years now he has been exploring the world of producing. Releasing on labels like Crescent London, Further Sessions, Proselytizing or Charybdis he is establishing himself in the scene always seeking to refine his sound.

For this episode of our codecast X sessions we'd like to present another deep & hypnotic journey, in this case by the great Colombian artists Lopar.

Lopar has been playing for more than 4 years, he began his career as a professional dj in Decibel Academy (Intelligent Division) in Medellin, Colombia. His sound goes from the deepest to the most hypnotic and mental. Sailing through sub-genres like ambient, neo tribal and down tempo. Lopar seeks to immerse the listener in a vortex which makes him travel around Space & Time.
His identifiable taste and great selection had given him the pleasure to perform along side re known international artists like Anthony Linell, Etapp Kyle and Alfredo Mazzilli.

All this trajectory gave him the opportunity to perform in clubs like Club 1984 in Medellin, Colombia and also at Seis Bar, Loop Club and Marte Electronic Room in Manizales, Colombia.

Lately he has contributed with outstanding podcats for great platforms like Ruina, Outer Dimension, Fur: ther Sessions, Indefinited Pitch, a streaming for the great MONUMENT team and many more.

German deep techno specialist delivers a texture-heavy mix for the 280th Global Vibe Radio episode.

Dycide is a producer and DJ, professional sound designer and visual artist from Munich, Germany. He started playing instruments early on and began producing ambient music as a teenager. 

He established the Dycide pseudonym in 2014 to release mainly minimalistic deep drum and bass. Slowly he started changing more and more to techno-oriented music. Meanwhile, he and his close friends established IO (@iorecs), an audiovisual label, focusing on experimental ambient, deep techno and atmospheric artwork. Besides these projects he is working as an interactive sound designer and audio software developer.
