For this edition of the Forsvarlig Podcast Series we have Berlin-based Blazej Malinowski behind the decks. Originally from Poland, he is the founder and curator of the Inner Tension label, which features a variety of his own work as well as upcoming artists in the scene. His other work has been released on established labels such as Kontrafaktum, Semantica, Silent Season and The Gods Planet. As for the nearby future, he'll release a stellar remix of Svarog’s 'Passengers' next week on PROPHET Recordings. Be sure to check that one out as well.

In this mix Blazej has selected some work of both well-known and rising artists in the scene, something we thoroughly enjoy. Altered states are stimulated with tracks that make a perfect fit. Expect a deep blend of hypnotic rhythms and organic techno with chiming textures. Enjoy.

It is my pleasure to present Vanta for this Forsvarlig Podcast. Vanta is a German artist and producer and is one of the founders of the PVC collective. PVC organizes raves in clubs and forests around Leipzig. In recent years, Vanta has focused more on his music production and has since released records on labels such as Crescent London, Further Sessions, and Charybdis.

Take your time to listen to Vanta's recent EP "Baryogenesis", 4 strong, hypnotic tracks released last week on the Deflection label.

Drives into deep horizon of emotions and tries to lift up inner feelings.

We have already read that his music was dark and cold. She is also beautiful and subtle. Over the years, the french producer Clarence Rise has developed a strong musical identity, always gaining in intensity and singularity, where sharp techno meets icy atmospheres of coldwave.
Author of multiple EP on various labels (Bella Ursa Records, Chez KitoKat Records, DNC Limited, or his own label: Freestate Records), this DJ and Live musician make his shows into real trips, as dynamic as introspective. And his inspiration follows the same path: the self-introspection and the return to nature. The forest is its incubator of ideas, far from the noise of civilization.

Revelation of Sound is pleased to present Anomali. This is a multidisciplinary creative project founded in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The project was initiated in early 2020, and builds on decades of audiovisual experiments.

The initiative was born out of a desire to explore how digital technology enables new perspectives and expressions, and how audio and visual elements can be combined to convey what words cannot communicate.

Growing up with both rave culture and the demoscene, an early digital art subculture, exposed the projects founder of the possibilities of these tools at a young age. This has lead to the development of a unique narrative voice.

CODECAST X - Mechanist - Depressurization

MTRL (material) is a versatile art and music project by Lukas Weinlein. Driven by his interest in different ways of artistic expression, he started experimenting with sounds at a young age, tapping into many different styles of music. This insightful journey shaped his current understanding of music and ultimately led him to the endless possibilities of electronic music, inspired by the infinite cosmos and organic voices of nature. Having bonded with a multitude of great artists helped to refine his style and created a sphere of inspiration around him. The name for this specific art project was chosen because the definition of the word material, the matter from which a thing is or can be made, fits the purpose of the project very good. So the aim of MTRL is to create an audiovisual experience from existing or non-existing matter for open-minded brains. Together with Dycide and Polygonia he is one of the minds behind the label IO.

Her sessions blend hypnotic & percussive sounds with dubby & organic atmospheres. Through this combination, she achieves to impact mind & soul in an unique way, channeling her love for the deeper electronics and turning it into beautiful sonic sceneries. After touring the european scenes with his live act @midnightcafe.bxl, his solo comeback left a mark in the French and Belgian scene with the release of his debut EP, "Encounter", that explored a new psychedelic side of bass music in all of its forms. Usually giving out tribe and psytechno-oriented rhythmic paces, Jovz currently matches his winter slow(er) life arc with moderate BPMs, colder hypnotic techno inspirations, for a comforting musical journey that would cure any seasonal hypothermia.
