Imaginary Landscapes is Eduardo Vélez, a mexican dj and producer based in Lisbon, he performed a piece of experimental electronic music with Antonio Russek, a world wide known name in sound art, at Tallera Siqueiros in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Actually Imaginary Landscapes moves between Mexico City and Lisbon playing at different venues. Eduardo also has a duo project with Floating Machine called 'Teixo' releasing their first EP on Secuencias Temporales.

Very close to the experimental electronic music and sound art, Imaginary Landscapes combines different electronic soundscapes in his sets, always looking for the proper sample or loop, IL reaches and creates imaginary atmospheres: an instant into the inner side of music.

This week’s podcast comes at you from Melbourne-based Ian Morrrison aka Morian. It gives us the biggest pleasure to collaborate with individuals around the world exploring the music they love, and new dimensions and depths of their creative expression through mixing. 

In Ian’s own words: “My musical foundations are rooted in AC/DC, Sabbath and Metallica and give rise to a love of 4/4 rhythm and the riff. From here they veered into where worlds collide – Pink Floyd met the Orb in a student dive and a love of electronica was born, encompassing pioneers such as Orbital, Leftfield et al through to UK D&B, taking in Kruder &amp; Dorfmeister and the dub scene along the way. The love affair however ended in the early nineties, I wasn’t feeling anything from electronica any more, but I knew the music I could hear in my mind must be out there - somewhere. My musical imaginations seemed to put all of the above aspects in place and was only discovered pre pandemic in the form of deep techno. This discovery so rekindled my love and excitement that I took the plunge into DJing - I wanted to take the music internally heard and create mixes to ease back to and soothe the soul. Voila. I hope you all get the same level of enjoyment from this mix, as I had creating it.”

For the second installment of our series Inculcation, we highlight the talent of New York dj Prylivy. An exceptional artist who knew how to charm us thanks to his hyper worked sets and his ultra sought-after selections. 

Originally coming from rock and death-metal, Prylivy has managed over the years to extend its musical universe to more electronic genres, until developing today a deep/ hypnotic masterful techno.

Passionate about music, his vision of musical cultures, as well as the interactions between the actors of those cultures, is formidable. We totally agree with his point of view. 
This point of view is perfectly transcribed, both technically and artistically in his very beautiful work. A true masterpiece which we are proud to present as our last podcast of the Inculcation series.

Nils Edte is an artist based in Stuttgart. Driven by his passion for music, he has evolved in the hypnotic ambient techno scene. His deep, organic and atmospherical sound identity was inspired by the classic genres and nature ambience and textures. As a huge supporter of the local culture scene, he also engages in different kinds of artistic creations and especially the connections between the different Arts.
Together with Laima Adelaide and Tama he is part of the Stuttgart based label Predawn Records.

For this one we are glad to introduce an Electronic Music Producer & DJ from India. 
His sound can be described as a symbiosis of the deeper realms of techno,
laced with futuristic soundscapes and psychedelic characteristics.

With releases on Techgnosis & Qilla Records, Vishalʼs productions exhibit his
melodic & minimal techno influences blended with a new found inspiration for
deep and hypnotic techno.

Vishal is also the newly appointed Label Manager + A&R for Indiaʼs Qilla
Records, and also works closely with Swedish Psychedelic Deep Techno label,
Hypnus Records, both of which have played a critical role in his sonic journey.
Apart from this, he also takes electronic music production classes, [O3 Studio,
Goa & Pluginmusic, Netherlands] finding it immensely rewarding to help
beginners get started on their music making journey.

Bio/
Glasgow-based Fernie has been immersing himself in the local scene since 2002, taking influences from the city's many techno stalwarts, holding residences at several vital venues that allow him to hone his style over the years.
He provides deep and driving hypnotic sets full of energy and soaring pads. This same ethos is relayed through his productions, which have seen release across a wide selection of respected labels.
Most recently, he continues to develop his own Space Textures imprint, facilitating the release of some of the finest atmospheric techno on offer. He also works with the influential Norway-based Monument group to deliver podcasts and streams from global artists.
