Conscious Listening Mix Series - 21 - Adhémar (live)

Call it ambient, call it techno, call it what you will. Norwegian producer Snasen Makes futuristic avant-guarde music thats as delicate and intricate as it is experimental. Due for release on Sellout! Music, his forthcoming Grok EP is the third offering from the man himself and features three tracks that delve deep into the sonic realms of experimentation all the while maintaing a wholesome sense of atmosphere. This mix is meditation music for the mind. Dive in and dream on.

"I have one recurring dream. It happens in different places and with different characters but the subject is always the same: ZOMBIES! Ever since I saw the first remake of Night of the Living Dead as a teenager, I’ve had the undead hunt me in my sleep. It often revolves around my loved ones and almost every time I hold a shotgun (THE quintessential zombie mauling device). Even though my family and friends usually get eaten alive or killed in gruesome ways, I always wake up feeling invigorated and happy. I guess popular culture destroyed me after all."

AH&N operates within a musical universe of blurred contours, orbiting around techno and bass music. Leaning at times towards hypnosis and at others towards percussion and drive, he invites listeners to let go and have fun, guided by repetitive rhythms and textured sounds.

Adhémar is a multi-disciplinary artist, establishing his universe through music and visual works.
Constantly in search of the luminous quality of sounds, in a world made of shadows and light, his music is closely linked to his plastic work. 
This obsession with shadows leads him to think and create spaces, atmospheres that focus on the lightness and poetry of light. The idea of "narrative potential of music", allows us to confront the psychological and philosophical journey with a particular relationship on what is alive and what surrounds us (whether it is the material, immaterial world, the fact that everything is constantly becoming). With a particular rigour for transitions, whether in his own production or in his DJ set, his universe is built little by little, with the passing of sound transformations and the light and poetic transportation of it all.

Dear community, welcome to yet another XY experimental rhytmic session.

For this one, we're more than excited to introduce https://soundcloud.com/svarogtechnomusic.

DJ and musician who fills the dance floor with the spirit of mysticism and harmony. The Svarog project began its existence in 2014, with a release on the Spanish label Circular limited. Since then, the artist has released a lot of music on top labels of the genre, such as Semantica, Dynamic Reflection, Affin, Nachtstrom Schallplatten and others. He performed in almost all countries of the continent, at famous venues and clubs.

His music dives you into a hypnotic atmosphere, sometimes with epc or dramatic accents. Landscape textures and saturated timbres in the tracks create a magical flow, forcing the listener to dive deep into dance or meditation.

Modern and futuristic sounds, far from trendiness and simplicity, aesthetics, harmony and a bit of mysticism from the heart to all intelligent dancefloors out there.

He is a passionate producer of electronic music, mostly Ambient, Dub Techno, Down Tempo. Not stuck in a style in particular, his tracks reflect the flow of his life, sometimes evoking his vision of the future, sometimes just contemplating the present. This set is made of ambient, dub tec and hypnotic, rhythmed tracks and will try to help you enter this new autumn with a certain smooth force. Paula Koski has carved out a niche for herself with a multifaceted sound that ranges from ambient to experimental to richly layered, hypnotic and psychedelic techno.
A devoted techno digger with an immense intellect, Finland-born and Berlin-based Paula has been projecting her sense of aesthetics and composition into non-verbal tensional sound creations. The past summer, Paula was pulled into the direction of a whole host of gigs, both at home in Berlin, and away, joining the likes of Neel, Rrose, Acronym, Ntogn, Feral, Aurora Halal and Luigi Tozzi to cast her spell on lovers of the deep, rhythmic and inebriating sounds. Paula works as one of the aspiring musical curators of techno platform, festival and event series Monument.
