To celebrate 20 years of building Labyrinths, we have decided to release one set from each of the last ten years. I've chosen ten timeless moments that both document the history of the event and provide a historical snapshot of underground electronic music over the past ten years.

We have chosen a broad range--from closing techno sets, to morning ambient sets, to experimental sets to close the night. Each set represents a different side of the event. Taken together, they present a portrait of a decade of music.

テクノのクロージングセットから、朝のアンビエントセット、そして夜を締めくくるエクスペリメンタルセットまで幅広いセレクトですが、どのセットもThe Labyrinthの欠かせない側面を表しており、ここ10年におけるエレクトロニック ミュージックの全容とも言えるでしょう。

Installment number 65 of our series comes from the city of Leipzig.
Here, Jonas started his Kontinum project in 2016. Focussing on atmospheric and dissociative techno. Over the years, his sound evolved and ranges from ambient, deep techno to contemporary club-oriented sets. Over the years, Jonas has continued to develop and perfect his own sound and has had the chance to release on labels such as The Gods Planet, Lowless and Oslated.

Last month he founded is own label, Mnestic Records. The goal is to release club-orientated but deep music. Perfectly in line with our series.

Co-founder of the excellent deep techno label @norite and founder of the experimental ambient label @efja, resident at Brussels radio station @kioskradio, organiser of the renowned Metropolis parties with his brother-in-arms @sonhan, where some of the finest DJs on the scene have played, Souleiman is an artist who cannot be ignored in the Belgian techno music scene, With excellent sets like his Lunology series, or when he's invited to the most cutting-edge techno festivals or the legendary @fusebrussels club, the artist is blazing an uncompromising trail, with a precise, infallible signature that's at once minimalist, mental and multi-genre, combining the qualities of a high-flying digger with a seasoned mastery of the turntables and a sense of narrative. Emika joined Art Bei Ton a couple of years ago and has been delivering since then amazing music at our events. Her project Human Lesson has been attracting some of the most talented deep artists in the techno scene.

She recorded for us today a downtempo, relaxing and introspective mix filled with dark tones and intricate rhythms.

Emika Elena is a Berlin based DJ/producer and founder of HumanLessons.

Music has always been a huge part of her life, ever since she started playing piano in her family home at the age of 4, but it was the discovery of techno in her early teens that led her to become a DJ.
 
Her trademark sound is often described as "hypnotic darkness" which intersects expressions of ambient, experimental, and techno in her mixes.

She is breaking out of standards and creating a new feeling of deepness and true creativity. You can hear her authenticity carrying you to the spheres of your inner soul.

In 2025, Roger 23 makes his return to Night Defined Recordings. Following his 2022 album “Bounds of a Moral Principle and Established Standard Behavior”, the unmistakable Saarländer revisits his teenage memories of the Saarbrücken-Leicester connection through a collaboration with his UK kindred spirit, Tom Dicicco. In just two months, the duo has created a collection of ten tracks rich in sonic depth, embodying their dedication to and belief in the power of exploration.

His progressive sessions, profound and with long mixes, are real voyages that sail through experimental music, ambient and horizontal and dubby techno.

His productions are 4x4 experiments of low tempo with field recordings and marked spaces, where he explores timbres, textures and cinematographic structures. He is resident at the Alpenglühen and Taiga sessions and owner of the label Antimatter together with Bule.

He is also the owner of Alpenglühen (the label) focused in deep and ambient techno which explores the thin line between light and darkness.
