This episode of Transience is a rebroadcast from Intimate Connections, a special edition show on Cashmere Radio, that explores the relations between emotions and music. For this ,Transience host, Lou Drago invited friend and collaborator Ligovskoï to explore an emotional space that they have both been interested in, in their productions and Transience's target sound palette. Starting with our sun's frequency, 126,22 Hz, Lou Drago and Ligovskoï speculate about the effect of this specific vibration. Supposing a correlation between the life-giving energy of the sun and its frequency, the artists have created an hour's journey that subtly weaves through the interstices of emotional complexity, landing, hopefully, in a place that leaves the listener rejuvenated and uplifted.

The great comedown from the radiant warmth of summer is here and with it an opportunity to look inwards and reflect. It's this care or "Fürsorge" we give to ourselves and others that our next guest and dear friend Resom used as a theme for this mix. Recorded live almost exactly one year ago for the Swim crew in Basel, the theme of the event was to explore the concept of softness and the ethics of care. With this in mind, she set out to "send people on an acoustic trip, en route to a comfortable inner sphere - a sphere that cares acoustically also for dynamic and organically created versatile excurses." Indeed, it is this level of intention and care that makes her mixing immersive and healing.

Needless to say, we at Unrush fully embrace this theme and feel it's the perfect time to integrate it into our lives. So make yourself some tea, pause, and take care of yourself with this excursion into sound from Resom.

After some time we are very excited to announce our new EP by French pals @atomic-moog. With amazing releases on @lowless-music, @monument-podcast & @delsinrecords we are huge fans of their music and their approach to production and feel they are a strong fit for what Appian is all about : ) On show here are warm, heavily textured cerebral journeys densely packed with analogue atmosphere and feeling, with Dub at its core. We think they have created something very special indeed.

Chukimaandal is a techno DJ based in Seoul, South Korea.
Since her debut in 2018, she has been a resident DJ at Seoul's underground techno club, vurt. volnost. She selects well-crafted sounds based on deep sounds. The careful buildup is enough to keep the audience immersed in the dance.

Natural Clarity: CHUKIMAANDAL

This year I had the great pleasure of playing an ambient set at my favourite UK festival, Above Below. From the curation, to the sound systems, to the lighting & most importantly to the people, Above Below is a very special party, so I really wanted to make this as special as I could :)

To the best of my knowledge it wasn't recorded so here is an attempt at a re-record. It contains some of my favourite ever ambient & experimental records, and some of my own music & tools I prepared especially for the festival so this feels like a personal one.  I was really happy with the flow & vibe so I hope that transmits!

For their 6th EP, Art Bei Ton invites the talented French DJ and producer VBK. Her six-track journey explores the borders of hypnotic and trippy techno, pushing toward the uplifting side of the genre.
 
Dynamic and deep, each piece is crafted to draw the listener into a layered sonic space, balancing intensity with rhythmic textures. The EP features a collaborative track with the Moroccan artist Zaatar and a remix from Tadan.

Opening the EP with some halftime ritualistic drum sounds, "Concern" sets the tone with a hypnotic groove that gradually unfolds into a dense and immersive atmosphere.
