Our podcast series continues, this month’s story is told by Zemög. 

Co-founder of @matteriacollective, Jose is a talented producer from Pereira, a small capital in the middle of the mountains of the Colombian “Eje Cafetero”. Very influenced by the roots of his country, he had developed a precisely defined technique combining organic, tribal and deep sounds.

‘ Conceiving sound implies knowing it, recording it, manipulating it and seeking a purpose with it. In my life all the projects are directly linked to sound art. I have had the opportunity to record direct sound throughout most of my country and I have used a lot of that recorded material to generate textures and grooves in my compositions. Both the music I produce, as well as the mixes I do live, tend to find a generative, meditative and minimalist purpose in changing tempos, always looking for the sweet spot of bodily disinhibition and mental ecstasy. ‘

Aiôn Lazura has been a musical explorer for many years, thanks to this deep exploration he has managed to discover and define his own identity and style which is largely focused on the appreciation he has for the Ambient music and the Dub Techno sound.

Aiôn produces songs without any intention or objective, but as a way of expressing himself in general. His inspiration is subconscious, he enjoys imagining Science-Fiction scenarios and anticipation with a utopian sense.

This is LP called Light Collision is his debut, a concept album characterized by calm and warm themes moving towards more and more experimental themes with somber but deep touches. Is an eclectic album full of emotions, sonorities described as complex, strong bass lines and subsonic frequencies.

The seven songs are an invitation to travel in the imagination of each listener with their own interpretation.

Welcome to another codecast XY experimental session. 
For this one we're really glad to introduce Oreste.

Born and raised in the Loire valley, a tiny piece of heaven near Nantes, Oreste has always been surrounding by trees, old castles and ruins. This calm and pastoral surrounding remains an endless source of inspiration for this 24-year-old ambient producer.
Oreste is carrying out a project in connection with his environment. His sound compositions reveal a vast universe, like a firmament of ethereal layers under which a variety of organic and watery textures swarm, a world sometimes crossed by a fog of disturbing strangeness.
Deeply inspired by the fantastic musical ambient music microcosms, his desire to contribute to it shapes his ethereal sound and aesthetic.
After working in the shadow for a while he begins to make his path slowly in the electronic ambient world, and being released by several labels such as Lett Records , On board, Multipass records, Rites, and more soon. Lately, found his own one « Emerald Garden Records » with a first surprising physical release.
