Ambient music seems to be fascinated by nature, oceans and the sky. For this KapTep release I wanted to explore the sky and more importantly all we can’t see, the millions of signals and mysteries that it hides.

I wanted to leave room for the songs to breathe and allow plenty of open spaces within them. At times these compositions may seem empty, that is by design. Although the current environment is to pick a track or two add them to your playlist.

I hope you will spend 49 minutes and listen to this as a body of work, as it was recorded to be listened to in one continuous sitting. In addition to the 6 original tracks there are two wonderful remixes added by Arrival In Eden, and Sacred Seeds.

Numbers Station – I’ve always been fascinated with them. The mystery and intrigue.

Naming the Sky – Melancholy drifting and not a care in the world.

LA Scanner – I simply love the voyeur nature of a cheap scanner.

Cold Luck Moon – Blurred images, sounds and emotions. Plus, three words that don’t mean anything together as a title.

I Need Light – In a world of conflict, doom scrolling and fear… I need light. In fact, I think we all do.

This is my quarantine in a nutshell. 
Lots of different emotions, forced introspective times, some meditation and the unavoidable repetetition of a self healing, yet imperfect, loop.
This is a simulated cinematic trip that tries to go through all those emotions and aims to re-shape them into sound, with a dynamic approach, finding a way to be channeled. Consequently, it ends up being a weird, kinda eclectic selection of tracks I wouldn't usually play at the dancefloor, but I personally love.

He pursues making music by turning rough, industrial, non-musical noisy sounds into silky and sophisticated moods.
He tries to express the emotions of today through refining all the noises and mechanical sounds surrounding us, the modern people.
He creates deep, dark but warm texture of ambient space and put experimental and industrial sounds to express his deepest pain and emotions.
He tries to find new sounds and new combinations of sounds.

He released two albums from his own label, Artscope and is new albums are about to release from Secuencias Temporalis and Diffuse Reality in this year.

Melantónia live set 005 - Yóhan

Since 2015, Sanjib takes us into an authentic and richly textured world between ambient and dub-techno. 
Behind this name is hidden a Lyon based artist, eager to share an electronic music especially focused on emotions, a universe dedicated to travel and introspection.
After many EP’s released on the label of his early beginnings, Lett Records, it’s in 2018 that he produced his first album, «From Earth to Heaven», a smooth and poetic techno opus which has received great feedbacks. Particularly prolific on the production side, his works can also be found on Warok Music, Precept, One Instruments, and more recently, the brilliant south korean label Oslated.
Constantly adapting and mixing his tracks with new creations, his live performances are always a unique experience. Surrounded by a few machines and also one deck that he uses as a sampler, Sanjib takes us into a mysterious and immersive travel in which are melting dub-techno infused rhythms and floating soundscapes.

His touch was that of a master craftsman, creating intricate musical jewels that sparkled like no others. There’s no doubt that if he had been in a position to play live concerts his reputation would far exceed many of his contemporaries. He will be sorely missed by those who value quality and originality in music”.

A clear tribute Eafhm make to him consisting of several sessions and live performances with a special dedication, full of love and a lot of hard work on. Fun, demented, freewheeling, colourful, narcotic and oddly human. A fully acknowledgment of gratitude, respect and admiration. Timeless. Thanks.

VytisVA & La'Shaour are joining their musical fronts again to create a musical exploration which focusses on Lithuanian folklore. This time the guys are presenting three tracks plus remix from S Gytis with focus on modern electronic music merged with Lithuanian magic verbal charms. 
The inspiration for the release came from various Lithuanian charms like incantations, prayers to the old gods, and other magical rituals. Therefore they came up with the name Incantations for their EP, which is going to be available in vinyl and digital formats. 
Incantations are unique Lithuanian folklore texts and represent a closed tradition. By using these charms, you can expect to change physical and spiritual realms. The existence of these charms assumes that the words contain an exceptional spiritual power, which can influence people, mythical beings, objects and natural phenomena.
As Ramu Records crew, we believe in a sustainable future of vinyl record production. Therefore we are proud to say that for Incantations EP, we are using a factory which takes responsibility in lowering pollution rates and decreasing waste while working with sustainable technology.

Our next artist is an emerging DJ from Milan, Italy. She began her career as a DJ in 2011 when she was working in a club in Córdoba, (Argentina) that two years later when she returned to Buenos Aires her hometown led her to study a career as a DJ-producer at "Arjaus" Electronic Music School.
E L A is a blend of slow techno captured with ambient soundscapes and subtle rhythms full of surprising change. The psychedelic nuances of its selection create constantly fresh atmospheres. Its sounds are delicately hypnotic, engaging rhythms, and timely transitions.

Israel is only the executioner, every nation which has armed that country in the past year is an accessory to that genocide, an accomplice, a facilitator.  We cannot talk about war crimes because when you target unarmed civilians, mostly women and children, we are talking about a massacre, like terrorists do, not a war. The people who orchestrated that massacre, in the US, the most duplicitous, followed by those of the UK, Germany, France, and probably a few lesser ones should be tried for crimes against humanity just as well as Netanyahu and his cabinet, because it has been going on for two years, generously reported by media of all kinds, so the enablers knew exactly how the arms were to be used, as a tool for revenge, domination, and humiliation of the Palestinian people.  The conflict has ceased to be about the defense of anything for months.

The parties responsible have made a mockery of decency, morals, fairness, proportion, or justice, not to mention empathy.  Of what little there was, these concepts will be a lot longer to come back than they were to be struck down.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
