Hello (crazy) world,

It's almost winter, and we're back to physical and digital releases with a new split opus, ACCENTAPE008, from young French producer Inerit, co-founder of the Itae Records with Geinst . Inerit's vision of electronic music is futuristic, dreamlike and romantic. Far from the classic 4X4 techno signature, he likes to take steeper paths, working on polyrhythms, evanescent layers, delicate melodies, warm textures and distant voices that evoke Burial, Biosphere and Monolake. His unique style is an invitation to a deep, padded sensory journey, a stroll through a landscape that is both vegetal and urban.
On the B side, the founder and manager of the Sub Accent label returns to his label after a long silence, with a 3-track EP reminiscent in certain respects of the atmospheric writing of the first, in nocturnal mode and with a touch that's both gaunt and minimalist, while still giving pride of place to the dancefloor side of the album. L'ile Idéale has an almost ambient, dreamy feel, a sort of train journey at dusk, Midnight Sun takes us into electro and dance territory, and Aurora Mist closes the opus on a trance-like, progressive note.
