In a future drowned in neon lights, radiation, and poisoned air, the masses live asleep in a pseudo-reality. Slaves of a totalitarian hidden hand pulling strings behind the scenes. A world where Artificial and Organoid Intelligences script all life's algorithms.

The chemical stench fills the streets. The relentless hum of drones marks every instant. Each surface reflects distorted lights, like mirrors of a fractal deception.

Humanity's true Ki, its spiritual force, is drained and collected by the OWN (One World Network), an extremely advanced AI/OI neural server. It is hijacked and replaced with Synthetic Ki, an artificial energy weaving an endless illusion. It traps the population in a dull, aseptic dreamlike state.

From birth, every person carries implants wired to the OWN. They link to the DNA, re-tuning its frequency to host Synthetic Ki. This neural server maps each soul, predicts its lifetime, then stamps a counterfeit memory into it. What has never been, becomes remembered. It gives people the illusion of having real lives, but they are actually bound to a virtual cage. Everyone becomes a digital ghost of their past, present, and future. Like an echo chamber, their minds reverberate memory projections of what never happened.

Behind the curtain hides a small, cold-blooded cabal: The Hosts, claiming total OWNership over humanity — or so they maliciously joke. Human only in shape, never in essence.
Above them, at the apex of the pyramid dwell The Crafters: interdimensional, formless entities beyond space, time, and matter. The real architects of this fabrication. Their earthly relatives, The Hosts, secretly execute their will. These are the gatekeepers of reality.

Meanwhile, somewhere unnoticed...

He flips. Jumps. Twists midair. Gone... Elusive as smoke.
A shadow gliding through colossal skyscrapers. He steps as light as a feather, as fast as a comet. Running through the ruins of the megalopolis, his hands brush cold, sterile, smooth surfaces. The radioactive wind lashes his mask. The buzz of drones—once a threat—now a veil for his stealth. The very first human being who broke free from Synthetic Ki. The Cyber Ninja. Still with implants, yet hacked by himself, turning them into his best allies.

Like everyone else, he was once a prisoner, controlled by Synthetic Ki. Yet, something was quite different about him. He always felt a strange unease, a deep grief for something greater than this agony. Like an inner voice whispering to his heart, gradually initiating him into the truth. Intuition began to sprinkle all over his being, like fireflies that light up the forest at night. Precognitive dreams started haunting his nights, as synchronicities pervaded his days. False memories faded away, like autumn leaves.

His real Ki never died; it only slept. Until one day, a massive awakening shook the foundations of his fate. A sudden electromagnetic burst ran through his spine, shattering the OWN's chains. Still dazed from the shock, he started to see through the illusion. From that moment, he left behind his old identity as a mere digit. Distancing himself in complete solitude, he trained his spirit and body to become who he was always destined to be. His implants—once his shackles—became his sword.
The greatest threat—that the system had never foreseen.
