Hailing from Utrecht, Böhm is a name well worth diving into, thanks to his stellar track record. As a DJ, producer, and co-founder of the iconic 030303 collective, he's long been a cornerstone of the city’s underground scene. His contributions to 030303 alone mark him as a key player in shaping its legacy—but Böhm’s solo journey is equally noteworthy.

In recent years, he’s been on a roll, releasing a steady stream of standout records that showcase his distinctive sound: a fusion of acid bleeps, lush synth textures, Chicago and UK house vibes, and a solid foundation of classic techno and breakbeat. This unique blend sets him apart, both behind the decks and in the studio.

His talent hasn’t gone unnoticed—Böhm’s productions have landed on respected labels like the legendary CLONE Records, Steffi’s Dolly imprint, M>O>S Recordings, and the “Dutch Series” on Partout. Whether it’s his collective work or solo output, Böhm continues to push the boundaries of underground electronic music with authenticity and style.

When most were learning to shave, Dank Matter was honing his DJing skills. The Glaswegian cut his teeth at the knee of the mythical turntablist and DMC finalist: DJ Bunty. Having left crowds dripping and bellowing for more in his native Scotland, an intrepid seventeen year old sailed to The Netherlands to unleash his mixing mastery in Amsterdam. From these beginnings, Dank Matter has left basements buzzing and towns and cities thumping the length and breadth of the European continent.
 
An unorthodox DJ with an ear and style like no other, Dank Matter explores everything electronic. Acid. Disco. Ghetto. House. Italo. Electro. Techno. Wave. No sound is left unturned. This passion has manifested itself in many forms. The brains behind The Unit, an infamous afterhours bunker in the belly of Glasgow’s Southside, Dank Matter has also hosted parties with talent like Detroit in Effect, The Exaltics and The Hacker (to name but a few.)

If he isn’t swashbuckling on his technics or organising events, he’s with his baby: Schrödinger’s Box. Set up in 2015, the imprint has been a haven for homegrown talent as well as a beacon for international artists. As a taster, releases include Adrian Marth, Andreas Gehm, Anton Maiovvi, Cute Heels, Hard Ton, Mark Du Mosch with music from AC Meadows release having even featured in a Vogue promo video with Kim Kardashian.

A seriously skilled practitioner that guarantees unheard dynamite and machined fireworks, Dank Matter will leave throats raw, speakers sore and the crowd eager for more.
