Mr and Mrs Sheridan

(Mary and John Sheridan were my next door neighbours when I was younger. We got to use their tennis courts and they have a beautiful family. Mary and John have passed on now, RIP both of you...  but I wanted to appreciate them as I learned to love tennis on their courts and felt reconnected with them making it. Sorry for losing your tennis balls all the time 😆)

Update: Bass added and 2 x Electric Guitar (One lead focused the other rhythm mostly - Twang setting on my Line 6 amp for both runs - no DAW modelling this time) also added keys - piano one run and airy strings one run... both played on a keyboard

Very nicely... I stopped the piece / acoustic guitar which started it at 142 bars... I didn't mean that but I will definitely hold it now as the songs duration aswell... The universe delivered that one. 2 x Acoustic rhythm runs / Drums and Two vocal lead lines so far...

Let's keep the empowering yourself by a sports person's mindset even if your not playing sport... (to save you listening to me in the poem track... I empower myself by recognising that I am my version of Fernando Alonso at what I do - Music and poems so....)... I just got pole position with the song like I knew I would because qualifying when you're making song is having no doubt whatsoever that your result will be what you want to get out of it. This is vital. We can only make music from a position of calm confidence so using a placebo like tool like I do works really nicely for me...

The only difference in seeing yourself as a 'star' you may respect... There's no competition... But the same mindset can and in my opinion should apply... All incredible sports people visualise what they will do and that prepares their mind to be laser focused on doing it in the moment when it arrives... They have a reference in their mind and the skill along with that imagined reference allows them to execute it more effortlessly and adapt to something they may not have foreseen... They call their own shot in their head and then make it most of the time... Call your shot and you wipe out the doubt because your always happy with your result then before you've made it... If you end up with a pile of shite! Well even the best lose sometimes... Look at Zidane in the World Cup final... He's still one of the greatest footballers of all time... Maybe Materazzi's questionable mindset was too strong for him that day... But we don't need to worry about that crap... We have no one to beat but ourselves... Zidane licked his wounds stopped playing football straight away and is now one of the best managers in the world continuing to build his incredible legacy with the help of an amazing daily mindset of a winner... Winning in the music business (ethically) the way society is.. Extremely difficult... Bring it on!🔆
