	With an amazing 2014 opening party done and dusted, which saw the Bitch and Venus faithful pack out Venus Manchester from beginning to end. Revelers partied the night away with the “one more tune” chants still echoing well after 6am, we are safe in the knowledge that the January blues have been fully blown away by this event. Moving on to our next event, at Bitch we have always encouraged bringing new talent and breakthrough acts to the forefront, which is reflected in a lot of our lineups over the years. However, we are also no stranger to welcoming back headline DJ’s that have proven they can return to the Bitch decks year after year and still deliver sets that leave the crowd asking for more. This month we are positively buzzing to welcome back our favourite LA lady, Gina Star (Toolroom Records) to complete her hat trick of headlining Bitch Events.

Gina Star is a DJ and producer originally from Dallas, Texas. After moving to LA in 2006 to further her career, she was hailed by the LA Times and E! Entertainment as one of the most talented and sought after DJʼs in the city, and was welcomed into some of LAʼs most exclusive V.I.P. celebrity endorsed nightclubs playing her own special style of big room uplifting house.

Moving across the pond to the UK in 2009 to further her DJ & production career, Gina propelled herself into the limelight working with Toolroom Records and gaining support on her productions, notably Pete Tong spinning her Cirez D & Sunscreem mashup to the masses on his Radio 1 show.

Gina has mixed several Toolroom Records compilations including the best selling ‘Miami 2010’ ‘Ibiza 2010’ ‘Miami 2011’ and ‘Best of 2011’. She also did an ad campaign for Gio-Goi Clothing, which was circulated throughout Europe.

Joining Gina will be the Bitch and Venus residents who month on month continue to show why we put our faith in them and call them our residents.

First mix I’ve put out this year (how is it May already 🤯) and it’s a bit of an epic one… Here’s the recording of me playing all night at The Imaginarium last August 💥 A 6hr “classics” set featuring some of my favourite tracks and biggest inspirations of the last 25yrs DJ’ing. Finally got round to knock up a new mix!

This mix is full of the tracks I played at Parklife on the VIP stage and tunes from last months Bitch @ Venus Manchester.

As a Dj some tracks wedge memories into your head when you play them out, especially at Parklife. So I had to open the USB History files and re do a mix. Can never forget that sunshine, the vibrating scaffolding and the guys who were wasted at 12pm dancing like clowns!
