The 'lost' debut album from  the 90's London band. A much loved force on the live scene back in the day, getting a lot of press and attention at a time when indie was booming. The Honey Smugglers shone briefly but brightly and split before the nascent 'Britpop' scene (which they were part of) exploded. Having release only two EP's, this is that lost debut album, showcasing their groovy, melodic and often eclectic sound embracing the Beatles, XTC and like so many of their contemporaries,  a love of the 60's and 70's.
Lots of psych, pop, groovy baselines, occasional dance beats invention and hammond organ. WA fascinating musical portrait of the time between 88 and 92. Who knows what might have happened if they'd stayed together.
