Utah County misfits The Delphic Quorum have been a band since 2009. Over the years they juggled around members almost as much as they do genres up until 2021. When they were finally able to unveil their long awaited occult masterpiece HISTORY - A PEOPLE'S TALE. Which is a mostly instrumental concept album depicting the morose account of former carny turned deranged killer Gedderick Muntz. 

THEY QUIT AND KILLED HEMSELVES was entitled in homage and loving memory of the band's 2 closely departed members. Angela Moore, who quit the band Feb. 9th, 2013. And Sean "Cherub" Romero, who only 2 days later, doused himself in gasoline and willfully lit himself on fire. He was proclaimed dead Feb. 13th 2013. (R.I.P. 4/26/1990 - 2/13/2013) They had just finished putting this song together and only performed it twice. One of which was Angela's last show Feb. 9th at Muse Music, Provo UT. Which they fortunately had the foresight to record. Since the song still didn't have a name, the next time the band met up Judas was quoted saying " I don't even know what to do with this song since they quit and killed themselves." The Wizard joked that it should be the name of the new song and it just seemed to work.
